The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is a total hypocrite and deserves to be called out! Although Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has forgiven Liam for cheating multiple times over the years, he recently acted like it’d be unforgivable if she crossed the line with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Of course, we can’t forget what happened the last time Liam mistakenly thought a line was crossed.
Liam saw Thomas sharing a passionate moment with the Hope mannequin and believed it was actually his wife, so he fled the scene and had a drunken hookup with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) soon after.
Hope was able to get past all that as well as the fact that Liam was almost the father of Steffy’s baby.
Now hypocritical Liam is acting like it’d be unforgivable if Hope betrayed him, so he honestly deserves to get cheated on.
Liam could end up miserable and alone for a while, so it might be a good thing if he can’t forgive Hope.
Based on the show’s history, Liam expects Hope to live up to standards that he’s proven he can’t live up to himself. It’s ridiculous for Liam to be so self-righteous.
In the world of soap characters, Liam is the absolute worst kind since he’s a terrible human being masquerading as someone with a strong moral code.
If you ask a lot of B&B fans, they’ll tell you Liam is the real villain of B&B.
Liam acts like it’d be a punishment if he couldn’t get over Hope’s betrayal, but maybe he’d actually be setting her free.
Hope and Liam are arguably the dullest, least sizzling couple on the show, so it’s no wonder that Hope’s drifting toward Thomas and the possibility of something more exciting.
Although it’s rather problematic for Hope to be drawn to a guy who was previously obsessed with her, at least he’s loyal.
Thomas has always talked about being a one-woman man, but Liam has repeatedly betrayed Hope and sought her forgiveness once he crossed these lines he’s now so worried about.
It sounds like Liam can dish it out, but he can’t take it. If Liam ends up dumping Hope over a betrayal with Thomas, she really needs to tell him goodbye and good riddance.
