The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) have developed a nice bond, but there’s just not much happening in their story – if you can really call it a story at all!
Katie and Carter’s scenes consist of them exchanging flirty compliments and making out, but that’s pretty much it.
There’s no way Carter and Katie’s storyline can really go anywhere when there’s nothing to shake them up.
It’s weird that Katie and Carter’s romance hasn’t progressed more than this by now.
You’d think B&B writers would at least let Carter and Katie go on a date or hook up somewhere, but they’re always stuck at the office.
However, spoilers promised a slow-burn relationship from the get-go, so it seems we’ll have to be patient on Katie and Carter reaching any major romantic milestones.
Carter has rushed into love in the past, so maybe he’s just trying to do things right this time around.
Regardless, Carter and Katie are going to need an obstacle sooner or later – preferably a romantic interloper since the show’s so fond of love triangles.
It’d be great if they could convince Rena Sofer to come back as Quinn Fuller, even for a short stint.
Imagine if Katie and Carter’s relationship eventually blooms to the point where they get engaged.
Wouldn’t Quinn be the perfect person to crash Carter and Katie’s engagement party?
Quinn’s return is the shot of drama this couple needs since Katie and Carter’s pairing has been a boring one so far.
Carter’s feelings for Katie will ultimately have to be put to the test, so that’d be a good reason to put Quinn back in the mix for a while.
Quinn could come back wanting Carter and tempt him to stray from the new woman in his life.
It’d be interesting to see if Carter could resist Quinn since they used to have such an intense, passionate connection.
Of course, it’d be even better if the show could convince Rena Sofer to come back long-term, but even a brief stint could be useful if Carter turns Quinn down and proves his love for Katie is strong enough to handle anything.
