The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Recap: Thursday, August 24 – Liam Rejects Hope for Good – Eric Rages Over Dinosaur Treatment

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 24, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) acknowledged her mistakes and questioned if things were really over with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Liam pointed out that a lot had happened between them – and like Hope said, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was a one-woman man. That’s something Liam couldn’t say about himself since Hope wasn’t wrong about him or his history.

Hope still acknowledged the fact that she might’ve been trying to justify her betrayal with Thomas and wanted to know if they could move past this together.

However, Liam wanted Hope to ask herself if she always felt like Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was a third person in their relationship – even in the good times when he was devoted to Hope.

How could Hope know that Steffy wouldn’t always be there? Liam pushed Hope to consider that since Thomas would probably always be there as an issue for him as well.

Hope asked how Liam felt about Steffy, so Liam admitted his feelings were really complicated right now. Instead of discussing Steffy and Thomas, Liam suggested they keep the focus on his relationship with Hope instead.

Hope asked if they could try to make this work and hold it together for Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).

Unfortunately, Liam had to be honest with himself and admit that he wouldn’t be able to forgive and forget when it came to Hope and Thomas.

Hope got emotional as she guessed this was it then, so Liam said he was sorry. After Hope suggested she must’ve misread things, she added that at least now they know.

Hope told Liam she loved him before he kissed her forehead and said he loved her, too. As Hope stood there looking distraught, Liam walked out the door.

At the Forrester mansion on Thursday’s B&B episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) thanked Steffy for seeing him and wanted to get out of the limbo they were stuck in.

Finn hadn’t heard from Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) since they were on the beach, but Steffy felt that Sheila was most dangerous when she was quiet.

Even so, Finn couldn’t spend another night apart from his family, so he pushed Steffy to come home or even let him move in there so they could all be together.

Steffy said they couldn’t ignore Sheila, but Finn assured her that she could trust him and come back to him.

After Finn brought up their Monaco memories, he talked about how nothing could keep them apart. Finn couldn’t lose Steffy and begged her to tell him that she never wanted to be apart again.

At Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester (John McCook) insisted he wanted to do one more amazing collection – the most sophisticated, elegant couture collection that Forrester Creations had ever done.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) thought Eric should relax and enjoy his great-grandchildren instead, but Eric insisted he deserved a viable spot at the company.

Nevertheless, Ridge argued that they had more contemporary designs that were working for them, so he thought Eric had earned the right to go play golf or get better at pickleball.

Eric snapped that he wasn’t some old dinosaur and that he hadn’t lost his touch. Ridge assured Eric that no one was putting him out to pasture, but Eric thought that’s exactly what was happening and flew into a rage.

Once Eric went searching through his desk for his old stapler, Ridge suggested it probably got thrown out. Eric wondered if he’d also be discarded for being old and worn out, so Ridge had definitely offended him.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric and Ridge had better resolve this or else it could mean bad news for Forrester Creations, so stick with us for updates on what’s next.
