The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the show has all the right ingredients for a new love quad, so let’s talk about four characters who could mix it up in the romance department. The April 19 episode may have offered a great hint about the exciting road ahead.
B&B fans will recall that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) planted a kiss on Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) after his FBI plot was exposed. That’s obviously given Bill some hope for a new chapter with Katie, so he’s gone right back to trying to woo her.
Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has developed feelings for Katie in recent months as well. There’s no doubt that Carter would love to have a real future with Katie, but she may remain drawn to Bill and complicate things.
Of course, that would make a nice love triangle, but why not add another person and add another layer of drama? Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) is destined to end up back with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), so where does that leave Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen)?
If the April 19 episode was any indication, it could leave Taylor in a love quadrangle with Bill, Katie and Carter. Taylor interacted with Carter before interrupting Bill’s plea for another chance with Katie.
Then, Taylor went with Bill to visit Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) in prison, where Sheila commented on them being an ironic pairing since the victim was with his shooter.
In an earlier scene, Bill also shared a warm embrace with Taylor as he urged her to stop being haunted by her actions. It’s easy to see how the writers were perhaps planting some seeds for Bill and Taylor to potentially grow closer.
However, Taylor’s scene with Carter could leave the door open for another romantic route if Katie and Bill get back together.
The whole point of a love quad is mixing and matching a bit. B&B has a chance to play around with multiple romantic possibilities, so that could offer something fresh and fun.
