The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may have a difficult heart-to-heart with his mom and try to get her on his side. Despite Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) initial concerns, Thomas may hope there’s a chance he can gain her support for his new relationship.
B&B fans know Thomas was obsessed with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) for years, so it controlled his life and caused him to do some truly terrible things.
Taylor has been so proud of the work Thomas is doing in therapy and could see this situation with Hope as backsliding.
However, Thomas now has a chance to be with the one woman he truly loves. There’s just no one else who even comes close to comparing in Thomas’ mind – and that’s exactly why Hope’s drawn to him.
Thomas may eventually have a one-on-one conversation with Taylor and explain that things aren’t like they were before.
There was a time when Thomas was willing to do whatever it took to be with Hope, even if it meant hurting her – like when he kept quiet about Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) survival.
Now Thomas understands that kind of behavior was over the top and destructive.
Thomas doesn’t want to hurt Hope or anyone else for that matter, so he may convince Taylor that his concept of love has evolved and matured.
Plus, it’s not one-sided this time since Hope has been doing all the pursuing. Hope craves Thomas and has basically become ravenous in the bedroom, so they’re connecting on a totally different level now.
Thomas may sell Taylor on the idea that they’re both genuinely happy together – and Hope may back him up on that.
Since Taylor’s support would mean so much to Thomas, Hope may have a chat of her own with his mom and try to convince her that Thomas is more than a rebound.
Once Taylor hears Hope’s praise for Thomas and understands the depth of their bond, she could have a change of heart. If anyone is going to join “Team Thomas and Hope,” it’s probably Taylor.
That could certainly create more issues with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), who may stay firmly against Hope and Thomas’ romance for the foreseeable future.
If Taylor decides she’s on board with “Thope” happening since it’s real and meaningful, Brooke’s rivalry with her could get even worse!
