The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may finally be on the right track. B&B fans know Thomas has had several false starts when it comes to this whole “changed man” thing, but could he finally be on the road to redemption?
Thomas has been seeing a therapist – one who isn’t his own mother.
Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) certainly meant well when it came to her own attempts to help Thomas, but he clearly needed a professional who would be more objective.
Assuming Thomas is telling the truth about finally being in therapy, that’s great news for the character.
There’s a glimmer of hope now that Thomas genuinely means it when he claims he wants to put in the work and change for the better.
If Thomas keeps this up, he’ll have a chance to reinvent himself.
Thomas can break free from his former Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) obsession and the fixation he had on getting his parents back together, too.
This could be the start of Thomas building a new life for himself where he can be a normal adult and do the same things that other characters do – like have actual love interests instead of being consumed by one-sided attraction.
Fans have been begging for Thomas to fall for someone other than Hope, so maybe they’ll get their wish down the road.
Thomas has to work on himself first, but we can hope he’ll make the necessary improvements and have a shot at true love eventually.
Since Thomas is living with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), B&B writers might explore a romance between them.
Paris and Thomas have definitely shown signs of being attracted to each other, so it’s possible they’ll become a couple.
However, Paris could also play matchmaker for Thomas with someone she knows.
Maybe Paris could keep things platonic with Thomas and set him up with another lovely lady instead.
Regardless, Hope could feel a bit threatened once Thomas’ recovery reaches a point where he feels comfortable dating.
That could lead to a new mother figure for Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and a chance for Hope to feel like an outsider as Thomas forms a new family.
Thomas’ redemption could bring lots of exciting story opportunities, especially when it comes to his love life.
It’s just a matter of Thomas finally staying on a positive path this time around.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will try to make some updates to who he is as a person and learn from his mistakes.
