The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, January 3 Recap – Steffy’s Solo Mission Terrifies Finn – Carter Reels Over Bill

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, January 3, reveals that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) looked in the mirror as he thought back to blackmailing Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Bill also flashed back to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) rejecting him before remembering Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) insisting she was Bill’s for life.

Since Bill was clearly conflicted, he wiped a hand across his face as he dealt with all his thoughts and emotions.

Soon after, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) arrived seeking more info since they weren’t satisfied with Bill’s response on the phone.

Liam and Wyatt didn’t understand why Sheila was at Bill’s house in the first place, so they pushed to find out what was going on.

Bill had a flashback of going over his story with Sheila and promising she’d be a free woman again before calling the police.

Once Bill snapped out of it, he claimed Sheila just showed up pleading her case before he turned her in.

That didn’t make sense to Liam and Wyatt, who demanded to know where Bill was last night.

Bill said he was out, so Liam worried Sheila might’ve been there hiding during their search for clues.

Regardless, Bill didn’t think it mattered anymore now that Sheila was in custody.

Liam and Wyatt praised Bill’s heroic actions, but he kept trying to downplay everything and became uncomfortable.

Bill assured Wyatt and Liam that Sheila would never hurt him before insisting everything was going to be fine.

At the cliff house on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Finn checked a notification on his phone and relayed the news that Bill called the cops on Sheila.

Steffy thought that something was off since Bill warned them not to turn Sheila in – only to do it himself soon after.

Finn suggested maybe Bill just realized how delusional he was being, but Steffy feared it could be part of some grand plan and warned Finn not to say anything about Bill’s blackmail scheme.

As Finn pulled Steffy close, he promised he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to their family.

To side with Sheila was a death wish according to Steffy, who argued that Sheila would drag Bill down with her.

Steffy decided she needed to talk to Bill, but she wanted to do it alone and vowed not to rile him up.

Finn made Steffy promise to be careful and call him immediately if she needed backup.

At Forrester Creations, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) was skeptical about Sheila finally being in custody, but Katie saw it on several news sites and believed it was true.

Both Carter and Katie wound up marveling over Bill being the hero in all this.

Brooke got updates over the phone before Katie turned her attention back to Carter, who thought Bill deserved to boast about taking Sheila down.

Katie admitted she would’ve freaked out if Bill showed up at her place, but Carter assured her that she could always stay with him – not that he felt she needed protecting.

However, Katie appreciated Carter’s protection and always felt safe when they were together.

Back at the cliff house, Finn got a text from Steffy that confirmed she just got to Bill’s place.

Finn urged Steffy to be careful and looked nervous about her confronting Bill on her own.

At Bill’s house, Steffy called out his name as she entered the front door. Bill said it wasn’t a good time, but Steffy insisted on talking things out.

After Bill admitted to calling the police on Sheila, Steffy wondered if that meant he’d come to his senses about her.

Once Steffy said they’d be pressing attempted murder charges, she asked if Bill was OK.

Steffy encouraged Bill to look at her and worried Sheila was blackmailing him.

That was the only explanation Steffy could think of since Sheila was so deranged.

Steffy begged Bill to tell her he didn’t actually have feelings for Sheila and warned him not to turn Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) in over the shooting.

Sheila was dangerous and psychotic, so Steffy insisted Bill couldn’t side with her – for all their sakes!

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill’s plot will get increasingly messy, so stay tuned to B&B.
