The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the CBS soap could be gearing up for a shocking new pairing that would make some serious waves and outrage plenty of fans. Let’s consider some clues and try to figure out if a controversial romance is indeed on the way.
For starters, B&B writers have subtly been laying the groundwork for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to have some marriage problems.
Finn has been putting in more hours on the job, so Steffy keeps talking about how much she misses him and their alone time.
Of course, Finn is also hoping for a promotion, which will mean even more time away from Steffy and his family if he indeed becomes the new head of the department.
It’s easy to see how this could put a strain on Steffy and Finn’s marriage.
Plus, Finn may not be too happy about this whole situation with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Steffy is forcing Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) to work with Thomas if she wants to save her line, so Finn may question his wife’s judgment on that.
There’s also the matter of Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) living at the cliff house and how that’s changed the family dynamic.
Finn may find it strange that Steffy is softening to Thomas so quickly after previously promising Hope she’d watch out for her brother as a threat.
Meanwhile, Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) are about to face some marriage issues of their own.
It looks like Hope will cave in when it comes to letting Thomas rejoin her line, so she’ll try to help Liam see that she had no choice.
Despite Liam’s attempt to talk Hope out of working with Thomas again, she may decide it’s worth the risk if it means saving Hope for the Future.
Between that decision and the stress they’ve already been dealing with over Douglas, there’s going to be some relationship drama for Liam and Hope.
With both “Sinn” and “Lope” in turmoil, could the show pair Finn and Hope up next?
The fact that they’ll both be having marriage problems at the same time could spell trouble!
