The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, May 12, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will breathe a sigh of relief after the meeting in San Francisco goes well. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will help Hope impress the buyers (Vivian Huang and Quinn Knox), so this trip will be successful.
After things wrap up, Hope will send Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) a text to let him know that the buyers loved their work.
Liam will get updates on Hope and Thomas preparing to fly home, so he’ll be glad since he wasn’t thrilled about Thomas spending so much time alone with his wife.
Unfortunately, the Forrester pilot (Ryan Stroud) will deliver some bad news soon after.
B&B spoilers say there’ll be a plane malfunction, so that’ll create a delay and leave Hope fearful about Liam’s reaction.
Thomas will assure Hope that they’re going to figure this out, so he’ll start looking into commercial flights and rental cars in case they need to rely on other transportation methods.
Since Hope will know she won’t be home on time, she’ll have to call Liam and alert him to the plane trouble.
Liam will find out Hope and Thomas are stranded in San Francisco, so he’ll be uneasy as he hangs up.
When Liam wonders if he should worry, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will work to reassure him despite her concerns about Hope’s recent flirting.
Back with Thomas, he’ll decide to order dinner for two and will perhaps tell Hope that they might as well eat while they wait.
It won’t be a romantic gesture on Thomas’ part, but Hope will still find herself flustered over the idea of this private meal together.
Once the Forrester pilot reports back, he’ll reveal that the plane issue has been fixed, so they’ll be able to take the same jet home after all.
Thomas and Hope will get swept up in the moment as they celebrate, so they’ll almost kiss as a result.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Thomas will ultimately pull away from each other, but it’ll still be a close call that leaves Hope more on edge than ever!
