The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, May 26, teases that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will demand an explanation after he relays all the details he heard from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Steffy believes Hope was flirting with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) on the job, so she told Liam about Hope’s apparent feelings for him.
Liam will confront Hope about those feelings and may wonder if Thomas is the reason why she’s been more passionate at home lately.
Of course, Hope will act like Steffy’s accusation is absurd and completely misleading. It’ll leave Hope irritated since this will just make Liam even more worried about her partnership with Thomas.
Hope will likely recap how she was celebrating the preorder numbers with Thomas that day.
According to Hope, it was a simple case of clasping hands in a celebratory moment.
Hope may also deny that Thomas had anything to do with her connecting more intimately with Liam at home.
B&B fans know Thomas has indeed been getting Hope’s motor running lately, but she’ll continue to live in a state of denial and will pretend all of this is outrageous.
Even so, Liam will finally decide he just can’t take it anymore. After Liam orders Hope to stop working with Thomas, she’ll be appalled over what she’s hearing.
However, Liam won’t see any other solution and will argue that this isn’t about Hope’s career.
Hope will insist she needs Thomas to save her line, but Liam will be more concerned with saving their marriage!
Liam will point out that none of this would be happening if Hope had done the one thing he asked of her by keeping Thomas away.
Naturally, Hope will fire back about how Thomas is Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) father and will feel like Liam’s being unreasonable.
Thomas and Hope are Douglas’ parents, so she won’t know how Liam expects her to shut Douglas’ dad out of the picture.
As Liam gets increasingly angry over this whole situation, he’ll blow his top over how exhausted he is.
Since Hope is still defending the man who kept Beth Spencer from them, it’ll leave Liam sick of this battle.
Liam will insist he can’t keep letting Thomas live in his head rent-free, so Hope will push him to stop obsessing then.
Hope will contend that the old version of Thomas doesn’t exist anymore, so she’ll warn Liam to accept that or let it go.
You can bet Steffy will get an earful from Hope in the coming episodes now that she’s stirred up another round of this Thomas war.
Hope certainly won’t appreciate the news that Steffy’s been spreading to Liam.
In the meantime, it looks like the hints will keep piling up for Thomas when it comes to Hope’s real feelings.
Thomas may become truly convinced that Hope sees him as more than a friend, co-parent and design partner.
