The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, February 16, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will offer Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) reassurance. Although Hope remains baffled over Douglas’ choice, she won’t want him to feel like he did anything wrong.
Liam may reiterate that Douglas isn’t in trouble and that no one’s upset with him. Everyone is just trying to process the news that Douglas wants to live at the cliff house and figure out a way to make this work.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has been trying to get John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) on board with the idea of Douglas living with them – just on a temporary basis. Finn understandably has some worries, but there’s no way he’ll put his foot down on this.
The good doc would never ban Douglas from living with them when this is clearly what Steffy wants.
Steffy gets that it’s a strange solution, but she truly believes honoring Douglas’ wishes is the best thing for him right now – and that means Finn’s sure to cave in.
Once Finn gives Steffy the green light, she may call Hope and Liam to tell them it’s all settled.
Douglas may get positive updates eventually, but there’ll be some emotional moments as Liam and Hope prepare to let him go.
Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have a chance to speak their minds on this custody issue soon enough, but they won’t relaunch their feud.
Brooke and Taylor have really grown as people lately, so their status as pals will remain intact.
Other B&B spoilers say Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will put a second-chance strategy in motion when he corners Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Eric’s about to hear Thomas’ plea, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll grant his request – at least not right away.
Thomas might want to live at Eric’s mansion again, especially if he thinks Douglas might change his mind and live there with him.
There’s also the matter of Thomas wanting his designer position back at Forrester Creations, so he may butter Eric up and hope for his approval.
Whatever the case, it won’t be that simple since Eric is still pretty angry and disappointed.
Thomas will have to prove he’s truly a changed man before Eric can give him a second chance – though it’s got to be further down the list of chances if we’re being honest!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Eric will unload some of his frustration on Thomas soon – and Steffy will also have some harsh words for her brother before the week’s over.
