The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Thursday, May 25, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will struggle to believe what he’s hearing. Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) just admitted she thinks Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) has feelings for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), so Liam will have a hard time comprehending that news.
Of course, Liam may remind Steffy that they’re talking about the same man who was completely obsessed with Hope and hid the truth about Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza).
Perhaps Liam will run down the list of Thomas’ other stunts and transgressions to highlight the fact that Hope would never want him – at least not like that!
However, Steffy may mention some of the same concerns she shared with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Now that Thomas isn’t pursuing Hope, Steffy has considered the idea that Hope’s ego is a bit bruised.
In other words, the fact that Thomas isn’t chasing after Hope romantically anymore might make him more appealing.
Steffy has seen Hope holding Thomas’ hands and looking into his eyes, so she’ll alert Liam to the close moments she’s been privy to.
Even so, Liam may think Thomas is the instigator here and act like Hope’s just getting sucked into his typical drama.
B&B spoilers say Steffy will stand her ground when it comes to defending Thomas’ progress.
In fact, Steffy will mention how she was afraid Hope might cause a setback, so she felt the need to intervene.
After Liam hears Steffy’s version of events, he’ll ambush Hope with updates at the cabin.
Steffy will back Hope into a corner by giving Liam this shocking information, which could torpedo their marriage if they let it.
At Forrester Creations, Thomas will reflect on some of the emotional scenes he’s shared with Hope lately.
Perhaps Thomas will remember how Hope said he “just wouldn’t get it” when talking about her full conversation with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Between that clue and some other ones Hope’s provided, Thomas will settle on a stunning theory.
We’ll see Thomas wonder if Hope might be dealing with romantic feelings for him, so he’ll reel over the possibility.
As for Brooke, she’ll try to do some damage control with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) since tension has erupted over Thomas.
Brooke may remind Taylor of their pact and insist she truly doesn’t want to lose their friendship over something like this.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor and Brooke’s friendship is about to fall apart anyway, so stay tuned.
