In tonight’s #TheGoldenBachelor episode, Someone told Gerry to find the woman he couldn’t live without. He was trying to do just that as he continued to date a group of women. Only it stopped being a group after tonight. He had to take his group of six down to a trio because there will only be three Hometowns next week.

It wasn’t the usual four. The rules have changed and in more ways than one. The ladies were all friendly towards each other for example. They were playing games at the house. They were playing in the pool together. And they cheered each other on as Faith was received some much needed one on one time with Gerry.

Gerry chose Faith for a solo date because he was curious about her. They had a connection on night one. He gave her the first impression rose. They never really talked to see where it would go after that and that’s left the connection floundering. Gerry doesn’t know if they have what it takes to let their feelings blossom or if the first impression fizzled out with time.

Which was why he invited Faith to the solo date. He wanted to get to know her. She wanted to get to know him. They started out by flying through the air in a helicopter and they were making out before either of them knew it.

Before either of them even bothered taking in the sights. They did eventually get around to looking out the windows and that was only after they finished making out. The date then got even better from there because they landed on a yacht. They spent the rest of their date on the yacht.

They had champagne. They also talked. They haven’t been talking and that was a problem. Gerry only knew one side of Faith. Faith decided to open up to him tonight and that made him more sure about her and their relationship.

Faith had been a homeless teenager. She didn’t have parents. She developed several relationships with guys that continued to hurt her and in the middle of all that chaos that she turned her life around.

She had beautiful children. She found herself. She now sees where she went wrong in the past and she was ready for someone like Gerry. Someone who could be taken at their word. Someone who was capable of commitment. He was everything Faith had ever wanted for herself and she told him that tonight.

Gerry realized that he had only gotten know Faith on the surface level before this. He gave her the first rose because he couldn’t wait to get to know the rest of her and so Faith was the first he chose for Hometown week. Faith later returned to the house so happy. She told the group about how it went.

She also broke a few hearts while doing so. Leslie had been upset hearing about the date. She’s been upset since she learned that Gerry picked Faith for the one on one. Leslie was falling for Gerry and she was worried that he was about to break her heart.

Leslie has been hurt before. She had even taken time off from dating. She was only sticking around because she developed feeling for Gerry and so it hurt her to see him making connections with other women. It made her feel like she wasn’t special.

She ended up in tears wondering if she should quit before she gets hurt again. She confided in Ellen and Ellen helped talk her down. This was all throughout Faith’s date with Gerry. And so when they learned about what happened on the date, both Leslie and Ellen were upset with Faith.

They felt they had heard too much. They also were upset that she got the first Hometown rose. There was only two left after that and it was five women still in the game.

They were all invited out to a group date later on. Theresa took the first opportunity to get Gerry alone. She told him that she was falling for him. She’s been on a lot of dates after she lost her husband and none of them have made her happier than Gerry. Theresa believes they have a connection. She even made out with Gerry after revealing her feelings for him.

Only for him to later pull Leslie aside because he wanted to tell her she was his girl. He did his best to comfort Leslie after the trying day she’s had and all he did was confuse some of these women. They were all falling for him, but he has to disappoint at least three of them.

He gave his first rose to Faith. He went on to kiss several of them and then he couldn’t decide who should get the second Hometown rose after the group date. He said he needed more time to think. He said he’d give out the two remaining roses at the rose ceremony.

And later at the rose ceremony itself, Gerry devastated three women. He gave his second Hometown rose to Leslie. He gave his final Hometown rose to Theresa and that was it for Sandra, Ellen, and Susan. Ellen had told him she was falling for him and the most he did for her was walk her out to the car because he saw her as a friend.

THE END!
