The Young and the Restless Recap: Monday, June 19 – Nick Races to Hospital for Sally – No Arrest for Sharon

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, June 19, reveals that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will confirm Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is dead before urging Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) to stay very still so he can deactivate the explosives one by one.

After Chance points out that he had military training to disarm bombs, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will insist this isn’t like Spain and will add that he has a chance to defuse the explosives this time around.

Chance will push Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to leave just in case, but Nick will stick around to shine a light for Chance while Sharon holds Faith’s hand.

Once Chance cuts the first red wire, he’ll worry that Cameron might’ve been devious enough to change the pattern and will try to work out his logic.

Chance will cut the black one next and will keep disarming the explosives while Faith’s parents distract her with talk about Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) baby.

After Chance is done, he’ll carefully remove the belt Faith is wearing and get her gratitude.

When Sharon asks if she’ll be arrested, Chance will contend that she acted in self-defense and shouldn’t question her decision for one second.

Nick will agree and thank Chance before he heads out of the sewer system with Sharon as well as Faith.

Chance will then call for backup to handle the crime scene and move Cameron’s body.

At the hospital, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will admit to Sally that their baby didn’t make it, so she’ll be in denial at first.

It won’t seem real to Sally, but Adam will insist it’s true and will tell her that he’s so sorry.

After Sally blames herself for not being able to stay awake, Adam will promise she did nothing wrong.

When Sally asks for Nick, Adam will confess that he’s not there yet.

That’ll leave Sally fuming over Adam intentionally shutting Nick out, but he’ll argue that he left voicemails and got in touch with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Sally will assume something must be seriously wrong, but Adam won’t want her to stress.

Sally will acknowledge that Nick is dealing with his real family, but Adam will insist Nick shows up when people need him and will assure Sally that he’ll be there.

In the meantime, Adam will plan to stay by Sally’s side.

Once Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) appears, she’ll speak with Sally alone and warn her about the emotional rollercoaster she’ll be on for a while.

Sally will ask what she did wrong, but Elena will declare that this wasn’t her fault and that it was a high-risk situation.

After Elena mentions that Adam had to make a choice, she’ll explain that he had to decide whether to save Sally or the baby.

Sally will reel over the news that Adam picked her over their child.

In a suite at the GCAC, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will fret over Nick and this whole Cameron nightmare, but Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will offer reassurance.

After Nate suggests a nightcap or tea while they await Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) updates, Victoria will freshen up while he heads downstairs first.

At the bar, Nate will find Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and fill her in on Victoria’s concerns regarding Nick, whose family has been terrorized by dangerous Cameron.

Once Nate says Victoria is determined to make Nick take time off, Audra will think that puts Nate in a tough position.

Nate may be getting his big chance because of Nick’s troubles, so Audra will wonder if he has any remorse about that.

Since Nate will vow to step up and will expect Audra to step up too, she’ll insist she’s ready.

Audra will explain that she was just making sure Nate wasn’t having second thoughts.

After Audra says Nate can count on her, he’ll appreciate that and pat her arm. Victoria will appear in the distance and seem suspicious of the interaction.

Once Sharon, Faith and Nick are all safe at the cottage, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will breathe a sigh of relief and step out briefly to call Nikki.

Faith will turn down food since she’ll just want to sit with Nick and Sharon for a while.

Nick will also fret over Sharon considering what she had to do tonight, but she’ll insist she’s just worried about Faith and will take her up to bed.

When Victor reconvenes with Nick, they’ll discuss the fact that Cameron can’t terrorize their family anymore.

Nick will know what it’s like to grapple with killing someone and will battle concerns about Sharon’s reaction once the shock wears off.

Regardless, Nick will hope Chance doesn’t drag Sharon through any court proceedings over this.

After Victor mentions that Adam reached out to find his brother, Nick will get Adam on the phone.

Adam will realize Nick hasn’t checked his voicemails yet, so he’ll admit Sally’s in the hospital and will want to explain everything in person.

Once Sharon pushes Nick to go, he’ll tell Adam that he’ll be there as soon as he can.

Elena will join Adam in the waiting area and ask how he’s doing since he lost a baby, too.

Adam will admit it just doesn’t seem real, so she’ll acknowledge the tough decision he faced and will want to be there for him if he needs anything.

Once Adam returns to Sally on Monday’s Y&R episode and reveals that Nick’s on the way, she’ll catch him off guard.

“How could you do this?” Sally will ask angrily. “How could you let our baby die?!”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally’s accusations will hurt Adam deeply, so stay tuned for some difficult drama.
