The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, September 14, reveals that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will all worry about whatever went down between Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) in Paris.
Although Jack will feel certain Tucker must be to blame, Abby will admit Tucker seemed genuinely hurt when she talked to him earlier.
Diane will consider the possibility that Ashley realized she made a mistake by marrying Tucker.
Regardless, Jack will feel like the Abbotts need to stay on guard and will warn everyone, including Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) once they arrive.
Since Jack will be so worried about Tucker plotting against Jabot, Billy will pipe up with a solution and suggest they should make Tucker believe their feud has gotten even worse.
After Billy pitches the idea of pretending he wants to oust Jack and making their relationship look like it’s in shambles, Jack will hesitate.
Traci won’t be sure more deception is what’s needed and will think maybe they should wait to hear from Ashley before they act.
As for Diane, she won’t see the harm in letting Billy see what he can find out from Tucker.
Jack will eventually give Billy the green light to go sus Tucker out, but he’ll warn his brother to be careful as he goes.
In Tucker’s suite, he’ll chat with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) underneath the sheets after their latest passionate encounter.
Audra will act like this was a one-time deal to help Tucker feel better, but he’ll suspect she wants to find out more about his wrecked marriage and new goals.
Audra will admit that if they were to resume their connection, she’d want something in return.
After Tucker reveals that he intends to take over Jabot, Audra will acknowledge that she needs a backup plan due to all the recent Newman upheaval.
If Tucker is successful in his Jabot takeover mission, then Audra will insist she’s all his. Audra will like the idea of working with someone who won’t judge her constantly.
Tucker will be pleased over partnering up with Audra again and will hint that maybe they can use her romance with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to their advantage.
At Society on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will suspect Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) desire to have lunch and catch up is really about pushing her back together with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei).
Phyllis will claim that’s not true and point out that Daniel is with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) now, but she’ll seem intrigued when Heather inquires about how serious that relationship is.
However, Phyllis will ultimately act like she just wants Daniel and Heather to be happy no matter what paths they’re on, so Heather will urge her to stay out of their love lives if she means that.
In the park, Daniel will have an honest discussion with Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) about the possibility of her moving back to Genoa City with her mom and how that doesn’t mean he’s going to be a couple with Heather again.
Lucy will get that Daniel’s happy with Lily and that they have a lot of history.
Even so, Lucy will wonder if hypothetically there’d be a chance for Heather and Daniel if he wasn’t with Lily.
After Daniel admits maybe that’d be true, he’ll make it clear that Lucy shouldn’t try to scheme and pressure Heather into loving him again.
Lucy will note that you can’t make someone love someone else, but she’ll suggest you can’t make them fall out of love either.
When Heather appears, she’ll inform Lucy that they need to get back to Lisbon sooner than planned since something unexpected came up at work.
Lucy will protest since she wanted to spend more time with Daniel and will mention that she thought the firm was still closed.
Heather will insist there’s a meeting about a trial that’s coming up – and she’ll point out there’s a lot to consider and work out when it comes to whether they’ll ultimately make a move back to the states.
Lucy will insist she’d be on board with that move, but Heather will suggest they’ll do what’s best for both of them and will seem uncomfortable around Daniel.
After Daniel summons Lily to his suite, she’ll show up and seem concerned since it sounded urgent. Daniel will kiss Lily passionately before they ultimately make love, so Lily will be pleasantly surprised.
Lily will sense that something’s up, so Daniel will admit he’s worried that Phyllis is trying to push him back together with Heather.
The timing of Heather’s lunch with Phyllis and the earlier trip back to Portugal will leave Daniel suspicious.
Lily will suggest another option since Heather has been acting so awkward lately.
Although Lily will think Heather may still have feelings for Daniel, he’ll doubt that and argue that it doesn’t matter since he’s with Lily now anyway.
Daniel will wonder if Lily’s worried, but she’ll avoid answering by offering a kiss.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Daniel’s relationship could be headed into rocky territory, so stay tuned for updates on any bad news that’s brewing.
