The Young and the Restless Recap: Tuesday, March 14 – Victoria Invites Nate to Hotel Room – Sally’s Romantic Adam Dream

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 14, teases that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will bump into Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at The Grand Phoenix, so he’ll talk about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being surprisingly mature about the baby situation.

Victoria will feel like Nick needs to keep his guard up and will admit she thought Adam was a better match for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Nick will assure Victoria that he isn’t jealous or worried about Adam making inroads, but he’ll still worry about Sally’s stress level.

Once the conversation shifts to Adam potentially running McCall Unlimited, Nick will think they should let him since it’d keep their brother at a distance.

Victoria, on the other hand, will refuse to let Adam win.

After Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) shows up and admits Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) crashed following her shift at the hospital, he’ll sit down for a strategy session with Victoria.

Nick will excuse himself to check on Sally, but he’ll pause by the elevator and seem a bit suspicious of Victoria’s bond with Nate.

Once they’re alone, Nate will talk business with Victoria before she finally suggests they should stop dancing around what’s happening between them.

Victoria will decide to get a room upstairs and will admit she’d really like for Nate to join her.

That said, Victoria will assure Nate that she won’t be insulted if he doesn’t come up – and she’ll insist this this has nothing to do with his job or their professional relationship.

After Victoria says it’s up to Nate, she’ll saunter over to the check-in desk while Nate looks deep in thought.

In Sally’s suite, she’ll dream Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is brushing her hair and playing up Sally’s connection to Adam.

Moments later, Adam will appear and tell Sally that it’s like they’re meant to be.

Sally will also dream about Adam bringing her roses and being romantic, so she’ll smile as she sleeps.

As the dream continues, Sally will seem more unsettled over Adam gushing about how perfect they were together.

Adam will touch Sally’s stomach and talk about this baby representing their love before she awakens to Nick shouting through the door.

Once Sally lets Nick in, she’ll immediately pounce on him for lovemaking.

It’ll leave Nick thinking Sally wanted to lose herself in what they were doing, so she’ll admit Summer is on her mind.

Sally will talk about Summer trying to make peace and veering into a discussion about Sally’s connection with Adam.

After Nick asks if Sally’s still feeling conflicted, she’ll deny it and blame the stupid anxiety dreams she’s been having.

Sally will also confess that she’s worried about the onslaught of drama that’s about to come from Nick’s family.

At Society, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will arrive and realize Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is getting off an intense phone call.

Although Phyllis will actually disconnect from Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), she’ll claim it was about a problem at the salon.

Once Phyllis joins Lauren at a table, she’ll insist she’s sorry about the other night.

Phyllis will claim she’s done self-sabotaging, but Lauren will still think she could use a girls’ trip in Vegas right about now.

Since Phyllis will turn Lauren down, that’ll raise suspicions.

It’s not like Phyllis has a job or family members who want to spend time with her, so Lauren will wonder what’s keeping her in Genoa City.

At the Abbott house, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will wonder if Jeremy’s threat is the reason for Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) proposal to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), but Jack will insist this is about love and his desire to spend the rest of his life with her.

Kyle will admit he needs time for this to sink in, but Diane will hope for his blessing at some point.

Jack will also mention to Kyle and Summer that they’d like to keep the engagement news quiet for now.

After Jack and Diane head to Society, Phyllis will be fake nice to them before expressing surprise that they’re back in town.

However, Phyllis will ultimately suggest it makes sense considering Jeremy flew to Paris.

Diane and Jack will wonder how Phyllis knew about that, so she’ll admit she’s the one who told Kyle and Summer.

Phyllis will put on an act about knowing how scary Jeremy is and wanting to make amends, but Lauren will privately call her out on the performance.

Nevertheless, Phyllis will maintain that she isn’t up to anything. With a phony smile, Phyllis will declare that she wishes Jack and Diane nothing but happiness.

Back with Summer on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, she’ll tell Kyle that this engagement is madness and will wonder if it was Diane’s plan all along.

Kyle will defend Diane’s motives, but he’ll acknowledge his concerns about Jack ignoring reality and getting disappointed.

Once Summer thinks about Phyllis’ reaction, she’ll warn Kyle that it’s not going to be pretty!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane and Jack’s engagement updates will lead to more trouble, so stick with Y&R.
