The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) could find herself backed into a corner. Since all this Jabot drama is erupting, Abby will have to make some hard choices when it comes to her family.
The Newmans and the Abbotts have certainly fought a lot over the decades, so Abby’s used to that rivalry – although it’s improved in recent years. Now Abby’s about to find herself pulled in two different directions within the Abbott clan.
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) made the decision to start a new company with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and compete with Jabot.
The fact that Ashley’s taking a stand against her family legacy is a huge deal, so Abby will have to process what that means for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and everyone on his team.
Once Abby gets updates on the extent of Ashley and Tucker’s devious plans, she may voice her disapproval. Abby might lash out at Ashley for letting her disdain for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) drive her to make such vindictive moves.
Although Abby loves her mother and always will, she also isn’t afraid to call Ashley out when need be. Abby may confront Ashley about how far she’s taking this feud and insist it could cause irreparable damage.
After Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) warning in the July 13 episode about Abby having to make a choice, Abby may ultimately see that she’s right.
This isn’t a situation where Abby can straddle the fence for too long, so she may have to decide whether she’ll be on Ashley’s team or side with Jack. Of course, a vote for Jack is a vote for Diane in Ashley’s book!
Ashley is sure to be offended if her own daughter goes against her and backs Jack up at Jabot instead. That’s exactly why Y&R writers need to let Abby support Jack when Ashley expects loyalty to her alone.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will mull over which feuding relative to get behind, so stay tuned for more news on all the corporate chaos. CDL will have other great Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates to check out, so make us your top Y&R source.
