Once Summer realizes Sally is pregnant with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) child, she’ll understand there’s no getting rid of Sally completely.
This baby news makes Sally part of the Newman clan whether Summer likes it or not, so the best thing to do is just push Sally and Adam back together.
Summer’s main goal will be protecting Nick, so plotting Adam and Sally’s reunion may be the answer.
Nikki’s involvement is interesting since her main storyline coming up involves planning the bicentennial celebration.
There’ll be an exciting gala to celebrate that milestone, but the event will really be about the show celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Of course, this party should have some fun surprises for loyal fans. Summer might end up using this gala as a way to pull Sally and Adam closer.
It’d be easy to come up with some excuse and call Nick away from the event.
Summer could basically arrange for Adam to become Sally’s de facto date for the evening.
Sally could get flustered and perhaps get some air eventually – giving Adam the chance to follow her.
It makes sense that Y&R might offer up a major Adam and Sally moment for this anniversary celebration in late March.
Will Sally surrender to a forbidden kiss and gain a secret? Sally might let herself fall into Adam’s embrace and lock lips with him despite her commitment to Nick.
Parties like this one tend to be great opportunities for stolen moments that lead to disaster.
Sally might kiss Adam behind Nick’s back and wrestle with which Newman her heart truly desires.
This Adam, Sally and Nick love triangle will come with some shockers, so Summer could use Nikki’s gala to set some in motion.
Nick may pay the price as a result, but Summer will clearly feel some pain now will prevent even more pain later!
