The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) may decide to keep her power trip going strong. Y&R fans know Ashley recently bought up all Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) debt and has been calling the shots when it comes to McCall Unlimited.
Ashley certainly seems to enjoy the power that comes with owning Tucker’s debt and pushing him to do what she wants.
Of course, it’s for Tucker’s own good, but Ashley still loves playing these mind games and being able to make decisions that really matter.
Now that Ashley has done her part to put Tucker on the right path, she may turn her attention to Jabot next.
Ashley might realize her own family business could use her insight, so this could bring another opportunity to take a stand and make her mark.
During the week of March 6-10, Ashley and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get into an argument.
There could be multiple issues driving this conflict, so let’s talk about those for a moment.
For starters, Billy has always been more willing to give Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) a fresh start than most people in Genoa City.
Since Billy knows what it’s like to screw up spectacularly and score a shot at redemption, he’s not someone who’s willing to stand in Diane’s way.
That alone could rile Ashley up and make her feel like Billy is enabling Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) ill-advised romance.
Ashley thinks it’s outrageous for Jack to be in a committed relationship with Diane, but Billy congratulated him on the reunion.
Although that probably won’t be the primary issue here, it’s still something that could create tension under the surface.
However, the real problem may be Billy’s own track record and his desire to accept Jack’s co-CEO offer.
Billy vowed to think it over and could easily decide to come back into the family fold.
Ashley may get updates and object since we know she’ll do some serious clashing with Billy in the coming episodes.
Will Ashley try to block Billy from the co-CEO spot based on his abysmal corporate history?
Billy has proven that he just doesn’t do well in this type of environment since he tends to get bored and abandon his position.
There’s even a chance that Ashley will want the throne for herself! Ashley might fight for that open co-CEO spot or even plot to be the sole CEO if she can swing it.
It seems like Ashley is starting to get a bit power-hungry and wants things done her way, so that could influence the Jabot drama that’s brewing.
