The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will wrestle with good news and bad news during the week of August 28-September 1. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) assured Audra that there’d be a place for her at Newman Enterprises – no matter how things turned out at Newman Media following the merger.
That’ll the good news, but Audra will still be disappointed over the bad news since she won’t be able to keep her current position.
Although profits are up with Audra running the media division, Victor will replace her with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) in a shocking twist.
Of course, Audra might hold out hope that she can reclaim her role eventually.
Regardless, Audra will know she needs to be a team player if she wants to stay employed, so she’ll have to do what’s asked of her.
Victor may end up demoting Audra back to the COO spot, which could lead to some conflict with Nikki. It’s clear that Nikki doesn’t trust Audra, so there could be some clashing if they’re forced to work together.
However, Nikki might offer Audra a chance to redeem herself and score some points.
Since Audra is a snake who has a knack for slithering, Nikki may urge her to put that talent to good use.
Y&R spoilers say Nikki will indeed deliver an intriguing assignment to Audra on September 1.
There’ll be a specific task Nikki wants Audra to accomplish – one that’ll come with great risk.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) is perhaps the one person Nikki trusts even less than Audra right now, so he may tie in with this mission.
Nikki knows that Nate cares about Audra – enough that he put his job and relationship with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on the line to help her dig out of a blackmail hole.
Nate bailed on Audra in the end, but his first instinct was to try to protect her. It also seemed like Nate was getting downright flirty with Audra recently, so it’s easy to see where this might be going.
Since Nikki doesn’t think Nate is the right match for Victoria, she may recruit Audra to break them up.
Nikki might give Audra a nudge to seduce Nate or find some other strategy to convince Victoria to dump him.
There might be a big reward in it for Audra if she can make this split happen.
Plus, it’d help win Nikki over and make working with her a lot more pleasant!
That said, Audra will have to be careful if Nikki really orders Victoria and Nate’s breakup. It could end in disaster if Audra winds up facing Victoria’s vendetta or Nate’s revenge in the aftermath.
Nikki may also warn that Victoria can never know she set this in motion.
If the truth comes out, Audra could lose her spot at the company and find herself unemployed.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Audra will get updates on a stunning new assignment, so Nikki will expect her to deliver results.
