The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will take a break from dealing with Abbott family drama and being Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) number one cheerleader. That’s because someone will get on Billy’s bad side, so he’ll feel the need to speak up.
It turns out that someone will be Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), which isn’t surprising since Billy doesn’t trust him at all.
Nate was exposed as a traitor at Chancellor-Winters, so Billy has no reason to approve of him being in Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) life.
Of course, Billy knows he has no right to tell Victoria who she can or can’t date. Victoria is free to be with Nate if she chooses, but that doesn’t mean Billy has to like it!
Part of Billy will always care about Victoria, who’s the mother of his children and someone he still considers a friend.
There’s always going to be a bond between Victoria and Billy, so that may come back into play soon.
During the week of July 24-28, Y&R spoilers say Nate and Billy will have a major disagreement.
There’s a good chance Billy will provoke Nate in some way, so Nate may lose his temper a bit and fire back.
Billy and Nate’s fierce faceoff could be a hint about a revived Victoria love triangle if the show wants to head in that direction.
If anyone’s going to steal Victoria away from Nate, it might be someone familiar like Billy – someone she knows right down to his core.
That’s especially true since Nate has a self-serving agenda and seems poised for a downfall due to how power hungry he is.
Once Nate and Victoria’s romance inevitably falls apart, who will Victoria lean on for comfort? It could easily be Billy since he’s always going to come running if Victoria needs him.
Once Chelsea is out of the picture due to Melissa Claire Egan’s maternity leave, the door may be open for Billy to pursue other options.
Are Billy and Victoria destined to get back together at some point? Could Billy’s rivalry with Nate lead to a love triangle with Victoria at the center of it?
