The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will continue to wonder what’s going on with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Sally just isn’t acting like herself from Adam’s perspective, so he’s growing more curious about what she’s keeping under wraps.
Of course, Y&R fans know Sally is pregnant, but she isn’t sure whether the father is Adam or Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Although Sally isn’t ready to share the baby news with Adam yet, the decision may be out of her hands soon.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is practically attached to Sally’s hip these days, but she could stand to spend a little more time with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) – especially considering Chelsea’s mental health issues.
Chelsea is on the road to recovery now, but she could still use some support and extra bonding sessions with her bestie.
Unfortunately, Chloe can sometimes make a mess despite her best intentions, so she might accidentally spill Sally’s pregnancy shocker.
It’d be pretty simple for Chloe to let a hint slip and cause Chelsea to put the puzzle pieces together herself.
It could leave Chelsea asking whether Adam might be the father – and Chloe may not deny that it’s a possibility.
Naturally, there are other ways Chelsea might stumble upon this bombshell. Eavesdropping is always a favorite pastime on soaps – and characters tend to have loud conversations about private things in public areas.
It wouldn’t be all that surprising if Chelsea overheard Sally talking about her pregnancy at some point.
Sally will face the facts when it comes to her double Newman daddy options, so Chelsea could find out about that, too.
Adam has to discover this secret one way or another, so Chelsea could become part of the big reveal.
Whether Chelsea confronts Sally and pushes her to come clean or just confesses to Adam herself, Chelsea might feel like he deserves to know.
Chelsea may recall how she previously lied to Adam about Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) paternity and refuse to put him through more deception.
This could be a good way to make Adam privy to the secret and keep Chelsea in his orbit as well.
Regardless, Sally’s baby drama has to spill to Adam eventually, so stay tuned to see if Chelsea might be the one to give him updates.
