The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 23, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have some issues with the way Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is running Newman Enterprises.
Although Victor normally tries to step back and let Victoria do her thing, he feels the need to intervene when her behavior affects his other children.
Now that Victoria is forcing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to take a leave of absence, she’ll face some backlash.
Victor won’t like how Victoria’s treating Nick, especially since Nick feels like staying busy would help him right now.
It’s true that Nick’s been through a lot, but keeping his mind occupied might be the best way to move forward.
That’s how it was for Victoria when she put Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) behind her, so Victor may call her out for being a hypocrite.
Of course, Victor will suspect Victoria’s decision to freeze Nick out is mostly about her desire to promote Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Although Nick’s leave of absence is temporary, Victor may worry Victoria could try to permanently replace her brother with Nate.
A sneaky move like that isn’t going to fly with Victor, who’ll argue with Victoria on Friday’s Y&R episode.
In the meantime, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will feel alone as his life takes a terrible turn.
We’ll see Adam revert to a sinister mentality that’s only going to get him in trouble, so he may throw back some booze and self-sabotage.
Since Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) isn’t ready to forgive Adam for picking her life over their little girl’s life, Adam will rely on some unhealthy coping strategies.
Over with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), he’ll make a surprising discovery.
Tucker will score valuable information against an enemy, so it sounds like he’ll uncover some dirt or at least something that’ll give him an advantage.
Will Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) be the enemy that Tucker scores the upper hand on?
If so, Tucker may give Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) this valuable intel and shatter any progress the Abbott siblings might’ve made.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) was hoping Ashley and Jack could achieve peace, but Tucker could blow things up all over again depending on the advantage he stumbles across.
Once Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) gets updates on whatever Tucker’s trying to pull, she may fight back.
Diane will show off her shady side in the coming episodes, so Ashley and Tucker had better be ready!
The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that more drama’s coming up, so that can’t be good news for Jabot and the Abbott family.
