The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, March 10, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have something big to announce. That may tie in with the bicentennial celebration since Nikki mentioned being on the planning committee.
Of course, this celebration will overlap with Y&R’s upcoming 50th anniversary, so that’s the real reason for this exciting party.
Nikki’s announcement might involve some special guests and entertainment since this bash is going to be the talk of the town.
Next, inspiration will strike for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) after she talks to Nikki about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and his unfortunate Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) situation.
Summer will realize she needs to do something to get Nick away from Sally before their relationship goes any deeper.
Despite Nick’s attempts to get Summer to back off, she feels the need to protect him.
Summer truly believes Sally is using Nick as a shield against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so she’ll be determined to put a stop to that.
Since Summer’s goal will be bubble-wrapping Nick’s heart, she’ll be willing to play dirty if she has to.
Summer will do some brainstorming and will eventually come up with a strategy that could end Sally’s current romance for good.
If Summer plans on Sally and Adam reuniting as part of that plan, she may justify whatever sneaky moves she has to make.
Summer might tell herself that Adam and Sally can have a happy family together while Nick’s free from all the baby drama!
Over with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’ll get some shocking news.
There’ll be some sort of curveball for Billy, so this could relate to his sudden desire to work at Jabot again.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) offered Billy the co-CEO spot, but could he change his mind or at least consider another candidate?
Billy is getting awfully excited about this opportunity, but it’s not a done deal just yet.
Then again, Billy might face a different shocker instead.
Jack and Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) engagement news would certainly qualify, so maybe he’ll offer updates once he calls back to discuss Billy taking the job.
