The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may face a difficult decision after Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plot blows up in their faces.
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) has a bad feeling about Kyle getting involved with her shady grandfather and will continue to warn Kyle about the risks.
However, Kyle will feel like he’s already turned this into a surefire success story.
Y&R fans will recall how Kyle pushed for something in return during his conversation with Victor.
It turns out Kyle laid down some ground rules about not putting Jabot in jeopardy and keeping his own hands clean.
Kyle will feel confident that Jack will never know he joined forces with Victor to sabotage Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and will hope for a big payoff.
As the final condition for this potential deal, Kyle asked for control of some textile factories that could make Marchetti an unstoppable force in the fashion industry.
It seems like Kyle will get so caught up in what he could gain that he’ll forget what he might lose.
The idea of Kyle making this happen right under Jack’s nose obviously seems like a long shot.
Y&R characters have a habit of getting caught when it comes to scheming, so there’s a good chance Kyle will indeed get busted.
Adam is a good friend of Jack’s, so he won’t appreciate Kyle going after him like this.
Furthermore, Jack won’t like the fact that Kyle’s joining forces with Victor of all people.
This will feel like a major betrayal, so Jack may blow up at Kyle and act like it wasn’t his place to decide whether Adam belonged at the company.
It’s also possible that whatever Kyle and Victor do could be detrimental to Jabot after all.
Kyle may help create a huge fall for Adam and accidentally cause a serious Jabot crisis in the process.
It just feels like Summer is right to worry about this partnership ending in catastrophe.
It’s not a done deal yet, but it should be soon – and that means Kyle could be setting himself up for a fall instead.
Kyle recently acted like Jack had no authority at Marchetti, but that’s obviously not the case.
Marchetti is still under the Jabot umbrella, so Jack can certainly fire Kyle if he wants.
Will Jack take that extreme step after all the drama erupts? Could Jack give Kyle the boot and urge Summer to run Marchetti alone?
Kyle may have to make some updates to his strategy if things start heading downhill, but bad news seems to be brewing no matter what!
