The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers say that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will get fed up when Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) once again takes off without warning. Summer has been disappearing on Kyle a lot lately, so that’s only adding to the tension between them.
Beyond the emotional distance, Summer is creating physical distance as well since she’s always running off for mysterious errands.
Of course, Y&R fans know Summer feels obligated to step up for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and protect her from the cops.
That’s why Summer will try to keep Kyle and everyone else out of the loop on Phyllis’ latest location, but that plan is destined to fail.
For starters, it looks like Phyllis will summon Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) to her hotel room via text.
Daniel will get an anonymous message before he reunites with Phyllis in her suite at the GCAC, where he’ll try to convince his mom that turning herself in would be for the best.
Summer will get involved in this conversation too, so she’ll side with Phyllis and urge Daniel to see that their mother must stay in hiding.
While Phyllis, Daniel and Summer are all arguing about their next move, someone surprising will burst through the door.
It sounds like Kyle will get fed up with Summer’s vanishing act and follow her since he’ll be the one behind this shocking entrance.
Y&R spoilers say Kyle will chase after Summer and get a huge shock once he finds her.
Although Kyle already felt confident Phyllis was alive, seeing her in person will really make it all seem real.
Naturally, this will lead to questions about when Phyllis first contacted Summer and how long she’s been hiding her mom from the authorities.
Kyle will no doubt fume as he realizes Summer’s protecting Phyllis at Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) expense.
Summer may beg Kyle not to turn Phyllis over to the police, but how can he do nothing when Diane’s freedom is on the line?
Kyle will have a choice to make, but Summer may not like what he decides!
