The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may have mixed feelings when she gets updates on Daniel Romalotti Jr’s (Michael Graziadei) breakup. Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) has met someone else to share her life with, so Daniel will have to let go when it comes to his dream of reuniting.
Although part of Lily will hate seeing Daniel in pain, another part of her may see this as a window of opportunity.
Lily has definitely been spending more time with Daniel and reconnecting with him ever since his return to Y&R.
Daniel and Lily’s friendship is stronger than ever, but perhaps they both want more than friendship deep down.
Now that Lily’s relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is over, there’s nothing standing in her way of her reunion Daniel.
Likewise, Daniel won’t have to worry about staying loyal to Heather or proving himself to her.
Despite the heartbreak, Daniel might ultimately feel a sense of relief – though he’ll inevitably need Lily’s comfort in the midst of all this.
Lily could easily provide that comfort in the form of a kiss or some sizzling time between the sheets.
Considering how close Lily and Daniel have gotten in recent months, it won’t be surprising at all if they jump in bed together pretty quickly.
Heather’s decision to dump Daniel may be just the push he needs to move forward with Lily.
It could also give Lily the courage to get honest with Daniel about how she really feels about him once she knows Heather is no longer an option.
Lily might admit that part of her isn’t sorry that they have a chance to reconnect on a deeper level.
It could lead to Lily taking a leap of faith and pushing Daniel to admit he feels their old spark, too.
Daniel may eventually realize he’s been chasing after the wrong reunion.
Although Daniel thought he wanted to get things back on track with Heather, it’s Lily who seems to be invading Daniel’s heart again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Daniel and Lily’s true feelings should take over following Heather’s painful decision, so this could be good news in the end.
