The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 18, reveal that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will try to undo some of the damage that’s been done – most likely due to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) decision to return to Newman Enterprises and take the reins again.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) was livid over Victor making that choice out of the blue, so there may be more tension in Monday’s episode.
Nikki will hope everyone can settle down and find a way forward, but she’ll know it won’t be easy since both Victor and Victoria are so stubborn.
However, Victoria has a new strategy since she intends to challenge Victor’s fitness for the throne and prove he doesn’t belong at the top anymore.
Since Victoria knows how she’s going to fight back, she may indeed calm down a bit as she prepares to carry out her plans.
Speaking of plans, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) won’t have any since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will still be out of town on a Kirsten Incorporated business trip.
That’ll presumably leave Sally bored and lonely, so she’ll make her way to the bar in the jazz lounge.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will run into Sally there and strike up a conversation, which will lead to Sally inviting him to have dinner with her.
Of course, Adam will be shocked over Sally’s suggestion that they eat together, but Sally might act like it’ll be a good way to keep the progress going on their path to friendship.
This will be a platonic dinner date, but there’s certainly the potential for it to be a major turning point for Sally and Adam.
Sally has been trying to convince herself she’s over Adam romantically, but her actions tell a different story.
Y&R fans saw how Sally primped before opening the door to Adam recently. Plus, Sally has been defending Adam whenever Nick tries to drag him down.
There are definitely signs that Adam and Sally may be on the road to a romantic reunion, so stay tuned to see if this dinner together will become a step in the right direction.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick’s trip will give Sally and Adam a chance to grow closer, so he may get updates on some unsettling news when he returns home.
