The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, September 4, reveal that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will see the potential for an alliance, so she’ll try to form a mutually beneficial partnership with someone.
There’s a good chance that someone will be Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom), who may admit she regrets giving up on Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and their love. Heather rejected Daniel’s attempt to reunite with her, but it looks like she’s having second thoughts about that now.
Phyllis will understand what it’s like to wish you could go back and undo a mistake, so she’ll want to help Heather fix this.
Of course, Phyllis will also view Heather as someone who can help her make progress with Daniel and try to form a bond with him again. As a result, Phyllis will do what she does best and scheme!
At the jazz lounge, Heather will listen in on Daniel’s discussion with Phyllis, who’ll gently nudge him to confess his lingering feelings for his former flame.
Although Daniel is back together with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), he may admit to Phyllis that Heather is a tough woman to shake. Daniel’s feelings for Heather will be bubbling up now that she’s in Genoa City and reminding him of their past.
Heather will eavesdrop on Daniel nearby – perhaps by design if that’s part of Phyllis’ romantic trap.
Regardless, Phyllis’ efforts to push Daniel and Heather toward a reunion will lead to trouble.
Daniel will inevitably catch on and accuse Phyllis of being the same master manipulator she’s always been, so she’ll face a setback instead of growing closer to her son.
Despite Daniel’s anger over all Phyllis’ plotting, his love for Heather could still put his romance with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on surprisingly shaky ground.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will formally accept Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) offer to run Newman Media, so that’ll lead to some big changes with her at the helm.
After warning Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to steer clear of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) or risk losing employment, Nikki will lecture Kyle next. Y&R spoilers say Nikki will try to talk some sense into Kyle, so she’ll pressure him to choose Summer over Audra the snake!
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also return to GC soon, so that’ll launch a showdown with her father. Victor’s latest game of corporate musical chairs won’t go over well with Victoria, so this will turn into quite the power struggle.
