The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of July 17-21 reveal that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will demand some honesty from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). After Summer realizes Kyle has been hitting the sheets with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll push for a confession and won’t leave until she gets it.
Since Summer could draw unwanted attention through her outburst at the athletic club, Kyle will eventually decide to shut this down and give her the admission she’s after.
Y&R’s weekly promo shows Kyle confessing that he indeed slept with Audra before Summer slaps him over it.
Summer also confronts Audra and asks if Kyle was just another random hookup to her or if Audra had her sights set on her husband and his money.
Audra doesn’t see why it should matter how things started up with Kyle, but Summer vehemently disagrees.
“It matters because Kyle and I are still married!” Summer fires back in Y&R’s weekly preview video.
Of course, Audra may point out that won’t be the case for much longer.
Kyle acts like he’s completely done with Summer over and has already removed his wedding ring, so Audra may think he’s entirely up for grabs.
Besides, Audra’s not the type of woman to limit herself to men who are strictly single.
As long as Kyle is a consenting adult, Audra has no problem taking him to bed repeatedly and showing him a good time.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will insert himself into Summer and Audra’s confrontation at some point, so he may try to stop Summer from turning this into a major public catfight.
However, Summer may eventually get fed up enough to insist that Audra can have Kyle if she wants him.
Kyle’s decision to betray Summer like this could certainly fracture their marriage in a whole new way.
Although Kyle will blame Summer for starting this mess with all her lies about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) survival, Kyle’s the one who’s been showering another woman with gifts and texting her for sizzling romps.
Once Summer gets updates on Kyle’s behavior, it could make her less inclined to fight for her marriage.
The news of Kyle’s betrayal could easily make Summer more resigned when it comes to the idea of divorce.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will unleash her wrath and contemplate what her next chapter’s going to look like, so stay tuned to the CBS soap.
