The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, February 9, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will refuse to back down. When it comes to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) return to Newman Enterprises, Victor will insist it’s happening and will have a way to lure his son back to the family business.
Viewers may recall that Victor hinted about a McCall Unlimited division for Adam to run.
If Victor’s takeover plot works out, he’ll be able to make Adam a formal offer for a new position.
Y&R spoilers say Victor will unveil his plans, so we’ll see if he relays news directly to Adam or if he shares his goals with someone else.
Either way, Victor will be more certain than ever that Adam will make a Newman comeback soon.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll confess to someone.
Could Victoria spill to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or perhaps Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about her kiss with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic)?
Regardless, Victoria will continue to have that lip lock on her mind, so that’s bound to complicate her working relationship with Nate as time goes on.
Next, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will snap after Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) uses up the last of her patience.
You can bet Summer will let Diane have it over all the drama she’s caused and continues to cause for her family.
While Diane faces Summer’s fury, Y&R spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will sound the alarm with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
There’ll be some reason for Chelsea to warn Billy, so things may get awkward.
Chelsea might battle more concerns about people thinking they’re dating if they spend too much time together in public.
Then again, maybe Chelsea will worry about the lines being truly blurred and insist she’s not ready for anything romantic right now.
Billy would never want to do anything to overstep or put Chelsea’s recovery in jeopardy, so he may promise that the ball’s in her court.
Since Chelsea and Billy don’t want to wreck their friendship, they’ll have to be careful about how they proceed – even if the spark between them is becoming increasingly obvious.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will give Billy updates on her fears, so he’ll try to help her feel better about the situation.
