The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will set up a meeting with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so that’ll leave her wondering what he’s up to. The last time Victor wanted to have a little chat with Sally, he wound up offering her money to abandon her baby at the Newman ranch!
Of course, a lot has changed since then considering Sally’s daughter with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) didn’t survive.
Victor isn’t heartless and wouldn’t wish that kind of pain on anyone, so he feels for Sally and the grief she’s dealing with.
That may be part of why Victor will deliver a job offer to Sally during the week of July 24-28, but he’ll have some other motives as well.
Victor is the kind of character who’s usually juggling multiple agendas, so Sally may be pretty wary.
There’s no word yet on the exact position Victor will propose for Sally, but there could be a spot for her on Adam, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) team following the Adustus International and Kirsten Incorporated merger.
Then again, there are plenty of Newman Enterprises divisions for Sally to work at, including Newman Media since she successfully ran it once upon a time.
Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may want to watch their backs!
Regardless, the point is that Victor will want to hire Sally, so he’ll make a strong pitch about her future.
Sally previously declared that she’d never let the Newmans write her checks again, but she could break that promise to herself.
Y&R spoilers suggest Victor may feel like this is a good way to promote peace between Adam and Nick as they deal with this transition period.
It won’t be easy for Nick and Adam to work together, so Victor might hope to please them both by making sure Sally’s got an executive position that’ll distract her from mourning her baby.
Once Sally gets updates on Victor’s offer, will she take it? Some huge news is on the way for Sally, so she’ll have a lot to mull over when it comes to her career.
