The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, January 4, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will worry about the mess Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has gotten herself into. Now that Diane is pretending she wants to reunite with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), the stakes are higher than ever.
Kyle will grow increasingly terrified over Diane’s scheme and the awful situation she’s stuck in.
Jeremy is bad news and not the kind of guy you want to mess with, so Diane is indeed playing a dangerous game!
While Kyle fears for Diane’s well-being, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get an interesting offer.
It’s possible Jeremy will reach out to Phyllis for help with the loyalty test he has in mind for Diane, but there’s perhaps a less scandalous option to consider.
Since Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) came through with a job offer for Phyllis, maybe he’ll hope to repair her bond with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), too.
Daniel will have a conversation with Summer at some point this week and seemingly get her all riled up about Diane.
Leading up to that, maybe Daniel will offer to help Summer see things from Phyllis’ perspective and make some updates to her way of thinking.
Other Y&R spoilers say Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have a few things to figure out.
Though there were other factors involved, Devon and Abby’s intense connection led to a betrayal that blew up both their relationships.
Now that Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) divorce is in the works, she’s free to start thinking about a potential romantic future with Devon.
That’ll be on Devon’s mind as well, so he’ll have a deep discussion with Abby about where they stand and what they truly want.
As Devon and Abby talk things over, their passion will explode once again.
Y&R fans can expect Abby and Devon to do plenty of sizzling at his penthouse, so they won’t be able to deny the flying sparks any longer.
