The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 12, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will decide to go against Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) warning and follow her heart.
No matter how much Daniel wants Phyllis to butt out, she’ll never stop poking her nose where it doesn’t belong when it comes to her children.
That’s especially true when it comes to Daniel and Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) love lives.
Although Phyllis doesn’t have any major problems with Daniel and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) romance, she’d prefer to see Daniel and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) bring their family back together.
Phyllis will feel like that’d be beneficial for Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and would be a way to repay Heather for all the good work she did as her attorney, too.
Daniel, Heather and Lucy indeed have some sweet family time coming up, so Phyllis may secretly set that in motion.
What happens on Young and Restless Tuesday, September 12?
Summer’s love life will also be messed with on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, so Phyllis will have to decide whether she wants to repair her daughter’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) or pressure her to find a new beginning.
That could bring a situation that involves more Kyle-related heartache or perhaps some flirty scenes with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
Regardless, Summer will definitely find herself drifting toward Chance sooner or later, so that’ll give Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) a reason to worry once she spots them together within the next episode or two.
In the meantime, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) will plan their fall wedding reception, so they’ll set a date for the happy occasion.
Unfortunately, this party is sure to lead to plenty of drama down the road!
Until then, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) trip to Paris will come with some curveballs.
This was supposed to be a wonderful honeymoon and a chance for Ashley to rethink a few things regarding Jabot as well as her new venture.
Sadly, that honeymoon went horribly wrong since Tucker’s going to fly solo on the return trip and will be alone when Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) corners him.
There’ll be a fierce faceoff in Tucker’s suite, where Abby will demand the truth about what Tucker did to send Ashley over the edge.
Ashley will disappear on her family and could end up delivering some divorce or annulment updates eventually.
For now, Tucker will hint that Ashley changed her mind about their new business and will want to leave it at that.
When Abby fights back, Tucker’s rage will erupt and make Abby even more unsettled!
Although Tucker will warn Abby to leave him alone and keep the Abbott clan away too, she’s not going to truly relent.
