The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 18-22 reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will leave his gambling trigger behind and let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) know that he’s quitting Jabot.
Although Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will hope for a chance to step up as Jack’s co-CEO again, his dad will have reservations about that idea.
That could affect whether Kyle will spill his latest Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) intel.
Next, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will confirm that they’re Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) biological parents, so they’ll deliver that news once Claire’s at Memorial’s psych ward.
While Claire, Victoria and Cole begin their efforts to bond, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will freak over what she believes is a Jordan (Colleen Zenk) sighting on the ranch property.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will do whatever he can to protect Nikki, but she’s up against another enemy that he certainly needs to worry about.
Nikki’s battle with alcoholism will continue to take a toll, so Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will pick up on her sobriety issues and give Victor a warning.
However, Victor will warn Nate right back, so he may insist Nate had better be coming from a place of genuine concern and not manipulation.
Later, Jordan will make a move that pushes Nikki over the edge, so that could leave Nikki spiraling out of control as Christmas approaches.
Over with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), she’ll be one of Santa’s helpers when she gets the Abbott family into the holiday spirit.
As for Tucker, he’ll extend a dangerous offer to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and give her something to think about.
Billy will be ready to get down to business at Chancellor-Winters, but he’ll soon find himself in a position where he has to defend Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will also help Jack celebrate Tucker’s downfall, but will they be celebrating prematurely? Tucker could still fight back, even if the Abbotts’ latest plan works!
Other Y&R spoilers say Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will find himself facing a Christmas predicament, but Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will come to his rescue once she gets updates.
Elsewhere, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have a creative gift for Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman), so she’ll appreciate all the thought he’ll put into it.
Over with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziedei), he’ll get a reminder about love and family – just in time for Christmas.
Finally, Phyllis will put a damper on Christine Blair’s (Lauralee Bell) attempt to have a happy holiday with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), so it’ll be tough for “Cricket” to hold her tongue!
