In tonight’s Chicago Med episode, Sharon Goodwin has been a wonderful administrator of Chicago Med. She managed to keep that hospital open through several hostile takeovers and double that of new bosses. Sharon devoted herself to that hospital. Sure, she had to make several financial cuts. She fired a few people.

She also set up a mobile women’s health clinic. She sent Dr. Asher and Maggie into the field to help women. Sharon wanted women that were too busy to take time off to still receive treatment. She did that not to step on any toes at the hospital and so it’s a shame that people didn’t see how dedicated she was. And now she has a stalker.

The stalker broke into her house. He followed her in a parking lot. Sharon knew this person was following her, but she refused to be scared. She also didn’t want to give up her work.

She knows she does a lot of good that way. Her new boyfriend thought she should retire early. Or at least move in together so that he could be there for her and Sharon didn’t want to give up her career. Nor was she in a rush for commitment. She’s been divorced for a while and her kids were all adults. She likes her life as it is.

Sharon was enjoying a coffee with her friend when she heard about the situation at the hospital. There were two teenage boys that came in. One fell and the other fell right after him trying to save him. Both boys were attending a disciplinary camp. They were malnourished as well as showing signs of hypothermia.

The “camp” basically tortured them. They took away their sleeping bags for acting out. They took away eating privileges. One boy was covered in insect bites. The other boy needed brain surgery.

The one that needed surgery was Jordan. The one with amnesia was Cody. Poor Cody forgot all about the camp. He couldn’t remember it or how he got to the hospital.

He was talking. Jordan wasn’t. Jordan didn’t regain consciousness after his fall. He was in desperate need of surgery and Archer wanted to play it safe with him. Jordan was a boy.

Archer didn’t want to push for a surgery that left the young man’s skull open for days if not weeks. Lenox disagreed with his assessment. She thought they should rush the boy into surgery. Sharon was normally the tie-breaker and she wasn’t around to do so.

Sharon was contacted by Chicago Police. They said a credible threat had been made against her. Detective Atwater had to move her to a place of safety. Once that was done, he showed her a picture of their suspect in her stalking case. Sharon recognized him immediately. It was Patrick Dunn.

He used to work in radiology until Sharon fired him. She couldn’t believe him he was her stalker. She said he was a calm man. He might have gotten upset about being fired only she didn’t think he’d threaten her about it.

That’s when the cops showed her Dunn’s social media posts. The man has been saying the vilest things about her since he got fired. The latest message was so sickening that it even left the cops worried. They told Sharon that they believe Dunn will act on his threats. It’s why she was somewhere safe.

The cops wanted to protect her while they look for Dunn. With Sharon out of the picture, Lenox and Archer remained fighting over the best course for Jordan. Lenox played dirty by getting the approval for surgery from the camp counselor.

The parents signed an agreement that gave the counselor the right to make medical decisions. It was only for the short-term. Lenox upheld because Jordan’s parents weren’t returning calls.

They had no idea their son was injured and so Lenox used the counselor to push her agenda. Archer was trying to fight her as best he could when the mobile clinic got their first patient. The patient was a teenage girl named Sylvie. Sylvie doesn’t have a cell phone because her mom said those are a distraction. Her mother also doesn’t know she was pregnant. Sylvie was hoping to have given up the child without her mom ever knowing about it.

Sylvie went home early when her water broke. Her cousin helped her to the apartment. He went to go get supplies and he tried to steal it from the mobile clinic when Maggie stopped him.

Those kids weren’t even going to get a doctor. They were going to hide the birth. Then drop the baby off at a hospital or fire station. Maggie helped Sylvie deliver her baby. The new mom couldn’t bring herself to hold her new daughter. She just wanted the baby as far away from her as possible. She also wanted to wash her sheets so that her mom wouldn’t suspect anything.

Sylvie’s mom had her at sixteen. She watched her mom struggle so much that she didn’t want to disappoint her by admitting she also got pregnant at sixteen. Maggie knew where she was coming from.

She once sixteen and pregnant herself. She was so scared of what her mother would say that she tried to hide it at first. It didn’t work because she needed her mom. Like Sylvie needs her mom now. Maggie convinced Sylvie to tell her mother the truth. Back at the hospital, Cody’s mom came to see him. He didn’t recognize her. He had no memory of her or what happened.

Cody began acting out after his father died. Its why his mom sent him to that camp. Only Dr. Charles was able to get to the real reason why Cody’s brain was protecting him. It did so once before.

Cody’s father was a mean drunk. He fell off the roof because he was trying to throw a hammer at Cody’s head. His father was still alive after he fell and he begged Cody to call 911. Cody couldn’t do that. He didn’t want his father to live to hurt his mom again. He knew about the domestic violence. His mother thought she shielded it from him and he still knew. Its why he let his dad die.

Its why he blocked out the memory of that day. Cody’s brain tried to shield him from the scary stuff. Its why he didn’t remember the camp and so he was going to need therapy for a while. Now, that his mother knows what happened, she’ll make sure he gets the help. Sylvie meanwhile was transferred to the hospital.

Her mom later came by. She was very upset that all their conversations meant nothing to Sylvie. Sylvie still got pregnant. Sylvie will still have a hard life. Donna needed moment to herself when she found out her daughter hid an entire pregnancy.

Donna calmed down. She went back into the room. She held her granddaughter and she got Sylvie to hold the baby as well. Sylvie came to the decision that she wanted to keep her baby. Donna was going to back her daughter’s decision. They were going to raise the baby together. They even named the baby Sophia.

Jordan later died in surgery. His parents were at the uncle’s cabin. Its why they didn’t know their son was injured. By time they learned their son needed them, Lenox had already gone ahead with the surgery and there was a complication that killed Jordan. Archer was never going to forgive Lenox what she did.

And Sharon’s stalker later killed himself in a standoff with the cops. They tried to arrest him and he took himself out.

THE END!
