Days of Our Lives Friday, November 29 Recap: Bo’s Coma Breakthrough, John’s Secret Mission and Julie Visits Doug’s Bedside

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, November 29, reveals that Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) struggled to believe that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) was really gone, but Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) assured her that he’d checked Doug’s pulse and was certain.

Julie took a moment to cry alone while Jack told Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) about Doug passing away in his sleep.

Jennifer, Jack and Eli all made some calls to family and friends about the loss so Julie wouldn’t have to.

At the hospital on Friday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) admitted to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) “ditched” her on Thanksgiving.

There was some top-secret ISA mission that John got called away on unexpectedly.

After Kayla got a phone call about Doug, she put an ambulance on standby. Kayla planned to have it go collect Doug, but she wanted to give everyone at the Horton house some time to grieve first.

Kayla also told Marlena about Doug’s demise, so they reflected on what a wonderful man he was and hated what Julie was going through.

Back at the Horton house, Eli comforted Julie and ultimately escorted her upstairs so she could have a final moment with Doug.

Once Julie sobbed over not having enough time, she didn’t know how she was supposed to carry on without her true love.

Julie stroked Doug’s hair and touched his wedding band as she sat by his bedside on Friday’s DOOL show.

Once Kayla showed up and revealed that the ambulance was outside, Julie said goodbye and told Doug that she’d love him forever.

Back with Jennifer on Friday’s Days episode, she called Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and delivered the sad news about Doug.

Hope struggled with tears and wished she could be there in Salem right now, but Jennifer insisted Hope would be there soon.

In the meantime, Hope sent her love to Julie and asked Jennifer to give her a big hug. Once Hope disconnected, she gave Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) updates on Doug’s passing and embraced him.

Hope flashed back to some special memories with her father and ultimately decided to spend some time by comatose Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) bedside.

Once Hope told Bo about losing Doug, she talked about how much she needed Bo right now.

Bo moved his finger like he was trying to clasp Hope’s hand, so she was stunned over the sudden progress. It clearly left Hope feeling hopeful that Bo was finally regaining consciousness.

Next on Friday’s Days episode, Jack took Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) to the Kiriakis mansion.

That way, the kids wouldn’t be exposed to all the difficult drama happening at home.

While Jack was dropping Charlotte and Thomas off, he told Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) about Doug passing on.

Eli also filled Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) in over the phone, she came running over and consoled Julie later.

In fact, Julie had love all around her since Maggie, Sarah, Lani, Jennifer, Marlena and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) were all there to support her.

As for Jack and Eli, they wound up sharing a sweet toast to Doug in the dining room.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Julie will have to get through Doug’s funeral soon, so we’ll bring you predictions on what’s ahead for her as she copes.
