Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of December 2-6 reveals that Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) funeral will bring plenty of mourners. There’ll be tons of people eager to pay their respects following Doug’s passing, so Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will be touched.
DOOL’s 15,000th episode will air on December 2, but they’ll keep the celebration going throughout the week.
Although losing Doug is obviously a crushing blow, there’ll still be some positivity in town through all the returns and warm Doug memories.
Days’ weekly preview video shows Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) raising a glass to Doug together.
Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will also share a toast in Doug’s honor.
At Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) townhouse, she’ll be glad to see Belle Black (Martha Madison) make a Salem comeback as well. Belle and Marlena will squeeze in some fun girl time despite the somber occasion.
As for Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), she’ll crack a case both figuratively and literally when she opens the time capsule at the Horton house.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will all be impressed with Ciara’s skills once she gets the lid open.
From there, Days will reveal what was tucked away in that capsule all those years ago – and our predictions hint that fans are in for a shock!
Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer) will also leave Julie taken aback with his own arrival, so he’ll tell his sister long time no see and give her some comfort.
Speaking of comfort, JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) will need some of that once he gets updates on Doug never waking up.
Thankfully, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will be there to take JJ in her arms and offer the support he’s looking for.
Other Days spoilers say Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring) and Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham) will both return after many years off canvas.
Since Marie and Liz had a pretty heated feud in the past, there’ll be some lingering friction during a town square run-in.
Julie will deliver a eulogy for Doug at his service, so there’ll be some tearful moments as she struggles to let him go.
However, Julie’s pain will be offset by all the loving friends and family members who rally around her.
Although Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will have to catch a later flight due to Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) condition improving, she’ll eventually land back in Salem with flowers for Doug’s grave.
Hope will sob as she tells her dad how much she loves him, so Doug’s sendoff will continue to bring emotional scenes.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say the week of December 2-6 will bring some highs and lows, so stay tuned for more news on everything that’s in store!
