Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, April 5, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) ran into Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) while they were at the pub with Jude Brady.
After Stephanie offered updates on the whole Everett Lynch aka Robert Stein (Blake Berris) mess, Eric hoped she found forgiveness for her sake.
Sloan piped up in agreement since you shouldn’t judge someone until you walked a mile in their shoes.
At The Spectator on Friday’s Days episode, Everett gave Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) the news about Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) being arrested for running Clyde Weston’s (James Read) drugs.
Everett wondered if Chad would make him cover up Stefan’s involvement again, but Chad insisted they’d post the story and apologized for covering for Stefan last time.
Once Stephanie arrived, she announced that she’d be sticking with The Spectator as a client, but she’d mainly be working with Chad now.
At the Salem PD on Friday’s DOOL show, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) brought a box of old stuff to Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) office and found her decree of divorce, so Rafe was relieved over the misunderstanding.
However, Sloan showed up soon after as Jada’s lawyer and insisted the actual divorce papers that were filed didn’t have Bobby’s signature on them.
Jada was still technically married to Bobby, but Sloan pulled out some new divorce papers and suggested they could get the ball rolling on ending the marriage ASAP.
Once Jada summoned Everett to the pub right away, he found her waiting there with Rafe and Sloan.
Everett found out about the divorce hiccup and signed the new papers, but Sloan pointed out that he signed “Everett Lynch” instead of putting down Bobby Stein’s name.
Despite facing pressure to sign as Bobby, Everett said that’d be forgery since he wasn’t that man and told Jada she’d have to find another way to get the divorce.
Back with Chad, he urged Stephanie to distance herself from Everett and let him find other people to lean on.
In the town square on Friday’s Days episode, Eric ran into Leo after he’d hit an epic sale at Saxton’s.
Leo hinted that Eric might want to do some shopping too, but Eric suggested he was budgeting with Sloan since money was still tight.
Once Eric returned home, he found an envelope on the floor with a letter from their landlord inside. Eric was taken aback to read that this was the fifth of the month and Sloan still hadn’t paid rent.
At the townhouse, Tate Black (Leo Howard) agreed to go to a baseball game with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) soon and got his dad’s advice about looking to the future.
After Tate lied about wanting to go out with his friends again, he made it to the DiMera mansion and threw pebbles at Holly’s window.
Holly met Tate outside and was tickled pink over his burner phone gift, which would allow them to stay in touch.
Tate and Holly weren’t eager to go back to school, but they at least liked the idea of spending time together there.
After Holly and Tate shared a kiss, they heard the gardening crew nearby and decided to sneak up to Holly’s bedroom where it was private.
In the living room, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) talked to Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) about the board wanting Stefan out of DiMera Enterprises over all the arrest drama.
Nicole wondered if Stefan was behind drugs that Holly took, so EJ acknowledged it was possible.
That said, EJ cut Stefan a little slack since he said his brother was trying to save Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (last played by Camila Banus) life by working for Clyde.
Once Brady came barging in, he reminded EJ that he wanted a public apology and an acknowledgment of the DA’s wrongdoing when it came to Tate.
Nicole played peacemaker on Friday’s Days episode, so EJ agreed to have the DA’s office issue a formal statement and shook Brady’s hand.
After Brady, Nicole and EJ left the room, Holly tried to sneak Tate in through the side door.
Brady returned and caught the pair together, so he demanded to know what Tate was doing there.
Once Brady made it clear that Tate shouldn’t be around Holly, he was surprised Tate even wanted to after what she did.
Tate insisted that he forgave Holly, but he didn’t change Brady’s mind.
Nicole agreed with Brady and said it was best for Tate and Holly not to see each other – at least for now.
Despite Holly and Tate’s protests, they were forbidden from hanging out anymore.
