Days of Our Lives Recap: Friday, March 1 – Stefan Botches Harris Hit – Theresa’s Confession Rocks Tate

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, March 1, reveals that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) showed up at the hospital dressed like a doctor and put on a surgical mask as he approached Harris Michaels’ (Steve Burton) room.

Stefan seemed concerned about trying to get past Officer Goldman (Christy St. John), but she surprised him by acting glad she was there since she needed a cappuccino break.

Officer Goldman asked if Stefan wanted anything and patted him on the arm, so he quickly realized she was working for Clyde.

Once Stefan entered Harris’ room and prepared to inject his IV with the vial contents, Harris’ eyes snapped open and he leapt out of bed to grab him.

There was a physical confrontation as Harris put Stefan in a chokehold, but Stefan insisted he had no choice.

Harris argued that everybody makes choices and pointed out that Stefan’s fingerprints were all over the syringe, so that was the second time he’d tried to eliminate a cop.

After Harris made it clear that he was giving the orders now, he said Stefan was taking the fall for this and that he was going to help him take down Clyde Weston (James Read).

Once Harris got Stefan to confirm that he understood, he said Stefan could go and that he’d be in touch.

Stefan bolted out of the room, but Harris was out of breath and in pain as he hobbled back into bed.

Officer Goldman appeared and seemed surprised to find that Harris was still alive. The wheels started turning for Harris, so Goldman reached for her weapon – only to rethink things when she saw a hospital employee entering the room.

Officer Goldman ultimately ran off as Harris realized she must be one of Clyde’s moles.

In Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) office, he went over Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) case with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) until Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) called asking if his dad was coming to see Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann).

Steve assured John that he could handle things without him for a while, so John indeed headed over to Tate’s new halfway house.

That left Steve alone when Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) entered to once again discuss what happened in Aria.

Steve finally came clean about being “The Pawn’s” handler and said no one was supposed to die that day.

After Steve stepped away to take a call from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) back then, he returned to find a young girl had been shot – though he didn’t know who she was.

Now Steve realized that was Catharina (Ellie Patrikios) and that the unconscious man next to her was Konstantin.

However, Steve defended John and blamed maniac Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) for the programming.

Stefano and Victor were gone, so Steve suggested Konstantin could spit on their graves if he wanted to.

John was a good man who had suffered enough in Steve’s eyes, but Konstantin ranted about his own suffering and wanted John to pay along with Steve.

At Tate’s halfway house on Friday’s Days episode, Brady was disappointed to find that he wasn’t on Tate’s list of visitors. Tate let Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) in alone while John got updates on the situation from Brady.

After Brady pushed John to go ahead and see his grandson, John seemed eager to put in a good word for Brady.

In the visiting room, Tate told Theresa that therapy brought up a lot of stuff for him about Brady not being there for him as a kid – especially after they moved to California.

Theresa said that was her fault since she lied to implicate Brady in a murder case and ensured she got custody.

It was Theresa who insisted they should move to California, so she admitted she kept Brady from Tate.

That news left Tate reeling, but Theresa wasn’t done. After Theresa confessed the slip in her recovery, she pointed out that Brady came through for her with plenty of support.

John overheard part of Theresa’s admission and backed her up when it came to Brady’s love for Tate, who ultimately agreed to let Brady in.

Although Brady assumed John got through to his son, Tate admitted it was Theresa who got him to see the light instead.

Brady found out about Theresa’s confession and thanked her as he hugged Tate, who was sorry for blaming his father.

Tate also embraced Theresa and praised her bravery in telling him the truth.

At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s DOOL show, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) seemed frustrated over Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) dodging her questions, but Nicole clearly didn’t want to overwhelm her.

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) mentioned something about Holly not letting her muscles atrophy after this long in bed, so Holly wondered just how long she’d been in a coma.

After Holly walked over to a chair with EJ’s help and ate some of the food Nicole brought, she finally got them to provide some answers.

Holly realized she’d apparently been in a coma for months and wanted to know how she ended up in one.

EJ said opioid-laced drugs were found in Holly’s system, so Nicole and EJ asked if she remembered where she got them. Holly didn’t, but she seemed nervous and acted like maybe someone drugged her drink.

EJ was eager to latch onto the idea that Tate roofied Holly, so he pushed Nicole to see that in a moment alone with her in the hallway.

Meanwhile, Holly remembered kissing Tate before their date and said his name aloud while looking pensive.

Afterward on Friday’s Days episode, Holly seemed to be asleep as Nicole spoke to EJ in her room.

Nicole felt like it’d be her fault if Holly willingly took the drugs and acted like it’d make her a failure as a mother.

Once Holly was alone again, she opened her eyes to reveal to Days fans that she’d been listening in on the troubling conversation.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Holly has some difficult decisions in her future, so stay tuned to DOOL.
