Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 25, reveals that Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) finished packing up her belongings at the office and rejected Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) request to take some contract papers over to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers).
Theresa explained that she made a promise to herself that she’d be officially done at Titan when she walked out those doors. Besides, Theresa felt like Alex should start learning how to get along with Maggie.
Things took a flirty turn between them, but Theresa still declined Alex’s dinner invitation since she had some job hunting to do. Alex seemed frustrated as he watched Theresa walk out the door.
At the park on Thursday’s Days episode, Theresa ran into Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) and learned his nuptials with Maggie would be happening just as soon as she could make the arrangements.
Konstantin hinted about making it a double wedding with Alex and Theresa, but Theresa obviously hadn’t made enough progress for that.
Even so, Theresa pointed out that Alex had to take two cold showers recently, so she felt like she was succeeding in driving him crazy.
Next on Thursday’s DOOL show, Theresa joined Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) at the pub, where she admitted she felt like a failure both professionally and personally.
Brady gave Theresa a pep talk, so she called him a good man. After Brady insisted it took a “damn good woman” to notice, he questioned what was going on between Theresa and Alex.
Theresa admitted they were just roommates for now, but she left the door open for that to change and admitted she might’ve been too hasty about breaking up with Alex over the non-proposal.
In the town square on Thursday’s Days episode, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) considered the possibility that there was no trace of Konstantin’s ex-wife because he eliminated her.
Steve was glad Konstantin’s visa was expiring, but he wondered if John would be able to let all the Catharina (Ellie Patrikios) drama go. Although Steve pointed out John could be innocent, John once again shut down that idea.
John acknowledged that Konstantin said he forgave him, but Steve wasn’t so sure that forgiveness was genuine. Konstantin popped up moments later and claimed he now blamed Steve for following Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) orders.
After Konstantin played up how Steve lied to John for years, he took off hoping that he’d stirred the pot.
Steve pushed John to tell him that he wasn’t buying Konstantin’s “crap,” which was only meant to cause a rift between them.
John scowled at Steve like he indeed thought there was some truth to Konstantin’s reasons for blaming Steve.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Maggie gave Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) updates on her decision to marry Konstantin, but she clarified that it’d be in name only.
Xander clearly disapproved, and Sarah worried this was happening too soon after Victor’s demise as well.
Even so, Sarah tried to show her support in the end – though she told her mom that Konstantin would have to answer to her if he hurt Maggie.
Alex also showed up with the Titan contract papers, so Maggie delivered the news of her imminent wedding to Konstantin.
Although Alex did his best to fake that he was surprised, Maggie admitted she expected a bigger reaction.
Alex wondered if he was supposed to lie and pretend he was OK with this. After Alex voted against Maggie’s marriage, she pointed out that he didn’t get a vote and sent him on his way.
Xander stepped away with Alex, so they shared their mutual concerns for Maggie now that she was tying the knot. The whole thing left Xander determined to stop this wedding.
Back in the town square, Xander admitted to Sarah that he couldn’t just get on board with Maggie marrying a gold-digging reprobate like Konstantin.
Once Konstantin returned to Maggie, she pulled out a prenup for him to sign. Konstantin was thrown for a loop, but he quickly put his signature down and watched Maggie place the papers into the safe.
At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Kirsten DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) took a phone call and agreed to be a chaperone for Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) field trip.
Once Kristen disconnected, she changed her mind about wrangling a bunch of kids and called Brady to ask for a favor. Kristen managed to convince Brady to take her place as chaperone since it’d give him some good bonding time with Rachel.
Kristen also told Rachel that Brady was coming to the aquarium with her and eventually led Rachel to believe Alex was her super cool new boyfriend. Rachel seemed intrigued by this information and skipped off for a cookie.
Once Kristen got Alex on the phone and learned Theresa rejected his attempt to hang out tonight, she summoned him to the DiMera mansion instead.
Kristen took Alex up to her bedroom and insisted they had to up the ante when it came to making Brady and Theresa insanely jealous.
After Kristen suggested they should pretend they slept together and let Rachel catch them cuddling in bed in the morning, she said Rachel would blab to Brady. The fact that Alex stayed out all night would also send a message to Theresa.
Alex seductively pointed out that Rachel was smart and would see through the ploy, so he felt they should go all the way and pulled Kristen into a kiss.
Kristen quickly got on board as she helped Alex start stripping down and straddled him on the bed for some sizzling moments.
