Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that like many moms out there, Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will get a special treat for Mother’s Day. It turns out EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will take Nicole and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) out for brunch at The Bistro, so he’ll encourage some mother-daughter bonding.
DOOL fans know things got rocky in Holly and Nicole’s relationship for a while, but they’re back on solid ground now.
Nicole was quick to comfort Holly when she was feeling overwhelmed recently and even called Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) over for a fast therapy session.
Unfortunately, all the progress Holly and Nicole have made is about to go right out the window.
Days spoilers say the trouble will start with a couple of other restaurant patrons – namely Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien).
Tate will be trying to do something nice for his own mom on Mother’s Day, but that plan will lead to drama once EJ and Nicole walk in with Holly.
Nicole may pick up on Holly’s heart eyes whenever she looks in Tate’s direction.
It’s also possible Holly will excuse herself to visit the restroom while Tate does the same.
Maybe Tate and Holly will sneak off to some corner of The Bistro to steal a kiss – which could give Nicole, Theresa or both a chance to catch them.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Nicole and Holly will end up having a huge Mother’s Day faceoff. Tate will be the reason for the conflict, especially after Nicole most likely finds Holly’s extra phone.
It looks like Nicole will discover that Holly and Tate have still been communicating with each other all this time.
Since Tate and Holly were forbidden from further contact, Nicole will surely be furious over her daughter secretly breaking the rules.
During the week of May 13-17, Days spoilers say Tate will grow puzzled when Holly doesn’t return his texts, so that’ll probably be due to Nicole confiscating the phone Tate passed along.
Once Nicole gets updates on Holly deliberately defying her orders, she may have some bad news for her!
Nicole may punish Holly and get even stricter when it comes to keeping her away from Tate.
Although Holly will be livid after their Mother’s Day showdown, Nicole will eventually try to smooth things over.
Will Holly be open to repairing the damage to their mother-daughter bond?
