In tonight’s Fire Country episode, Sharon and Vince were still going out on dates. Their first hadn’t gone too well. They were interrupted by a man that was in love with Sharon and anything other than that was an improvement. They went to the skating rink tonight. They had fun.

Vince was told his moustache was fire. It was a good date back out there and the most important part was that they were laughing about it. They were laughing together again.

Their sole surviving child was doing good time. Bode was back at Three Rock. He was using natural stunk repellant on trees when he got a message from Jake. Jake said that Genieve wants to visit him.

Genieve might be Bode’s daughter. He hasn’t told his parents about it. They were waiting on a DNA test. Only it’s good that she wanted to see him.

It meant she wanted to get to know him. Genieve was coming to visit when they were stopped by a guard. The whole camp was on lockdown because Bode had unapproved contact with a civilian.

This little girl wandered out of the trees. She had lost her grandpa while they were camping and she found Three Rock because she was scared. She was scratched up. She just wanted help and Bode had carried her the rest of the way to the camp.

It’s not like he inappropriately touched her or anything like that. He merely carried a little girl to see the captain. It was an unapproved contact with a civilian and so the whole camp went on lockdown. Bode was forced onto his knees. That was what Genieve saw of him before her mom dragged her away.

It ruined their plans. Nevermind that the little girl was lucky Bode found her rather than another prisoner. The prison fire camp was supposed to be for low level offenders and so imagine Eve’s surprise when she got a letter from a victim’s family saying they didn’t want a murderer there.

Manny never used to read the prisoners’ files until he was forced to. Eve started reading because she wanted to know how many killers were in the camp.

She read their files and now she can’t go back. It’s removed the illusion that these prisoners were safe or low level. She now has no idea how she’s supposed to write up her reports to Sacramento.

Eve had to get someone from Child Protective Services down there to assist with the little girl. The little girl’s name is Isla. Isla wouldn’t talk to anyone other than Bode.

Isla bonded with Bode. Bode was brought in to question her. He made it fun. He drew a picture and it got her talking. She told him what her grandpa’s car looked like. She didn’t know her address. She did know her mother’s name and that it was Rose Costas. Bode got her to talk about her house before Three Rock got called to a scene of a giant fire.

The fire was so big that even Cara got called to it. Bode later ran into her. He tried to tell her they could reschedule Genieve’s first meeting with him and she said that’s not going to happen.

Cara didn’t want Genieve to see Bode get violently restrained again. She’s seen it one too many times herself. She said Bode was always getting in trouble and he always had an excuse.

It’s why Cara didn’t tell about Genieve in the first place. She wasn’t sure he was father material. She doesn’t want her daughter exposed to violence and so she told Bode that they weren’t going to visit him after a day like earlier. Bode couldn’t even get mad at her for it. He didn’t think a felon was worth Genieve’s time.

The fire they were called out to was at a chemical plant. They all had to be really careful. They had to evacuate the building and Vince almost got caught in the blast. He thankfully got away in time before that whole building blew up.

After the building was ablaze, the fire then spread to a nearby house. The many firefighters on the scene did everything possible to slow down the fire. Bode and his new friend Cole heard people banging on the windows. They were trapped inside. Cole went for help while Bode got three people out of there.

Bode went back into the building to check for more victims when there was a combustion. Bode got caught up. Cole went in after him and he got Bode out of there. Cole proved he was a firefighter. He’s the man that killed someone. His victim’s family were contacting Eve to tell her that Cole didn’t deserve a second chance.

They wanted Cole to stay in prison. Eve was going to agree with them at first. She was going to send Cole back to prison because after he had that contact with Isla she wasn’t sure if a murderer should be so easily in contact with the public.

Only Cole saved Bode’s life. He acted with courage to do so. He got Bode out in time. Bode was treated for third degree burns to his leg and he accidentally told Gabriella he loves her.

He said it right in front of her new fiancé. Gabriella downplayed what he said. She told Diego that Bode was concussed. She didn’t admit to Bode that she’s been fighting with Diego earlier or that they were still fighting when he made that confession. Bode also spoke to Isla. They reunited her with her family and they got her grandpa help. He saved the day

In spite of all of that, Cara still didn’t want Bode to be a part of Genieve’s life. Eve also wanted to bounce Cole back to prison because his victim’s family started writing the Governor now. She would have liked to have kept him but Sacramento had higher authority. It didn’t look good for the camp to keep him. And so Eve was going to send him back.

Which Cole didn’t take well.

And Cara was in the ambulance with Bode and Diego when they got into a car accident.

THE END!
