General Hospital Recap: Tuesday, March 26 – Jason Gets Emotional Over Britt, Leaks Pikeman Informant Details

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 26, reveals that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was pleased to see Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) making progress during his wheelchair workout at GH.

The conversation eventually shifted to Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) arrest, but Laura couldn’t believe that Jason would target Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Curtis brought up the theory that maybe Jason was still working for Sonny and that Curtis himself was the target – not an accidental hit like everyone previously thought.

Laura was skeptical of that theory and reminded Curtis to consider the source since certain people could benefit from turning him against Sonny and Jason.

Meanwhile, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) were still at the hospital when Gregory Chase (Harrison Gregory) appeared with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

Gregory was out of breath as he struggled to walk and speak, but he warned everyone to back off when they tried to help him.

This was Gregory’s new normal since his symptoms were progressing, but he wasn’t an invalid and didn’t want to be treated that way.

After Gregory settled down, he insisted he just didn’t want Chase and Finn putting their lives on hold for him.

Once Gregory declared that he was getting a ride home alone, he staggered off with his cane.

Finn admitted Brook Lynn and Chase might want to move up their wedding date for Gregory’s sake, but Chase worried about changing everything that Brook Lynn had worked so hard on.

Brook Lynn didn’t mind since she wanted Gregory to be able to enjoy himself, but she was concerned about having a big ceremony while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was still fighting to recover.

However, Brook Lynn acted like downsizing would be the solution and turned down Chase’s last chance to back out.

At Sonny’s penthouse, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) showed up to discuss Jason’s arrest and the plan to help him, but Sonny said Jason had Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

Sonny clearly wasn’t interested in doing anything for Jason after he left Dante to perish on the pier, so Michael argued with him about whether Jason was guilty.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) piped up that maybe Jason fired at Dante accidentally and then administered first aid when he realized who it was.

Sonny said anything was possible, so Michael asked if that included forgiveness.

Since Sonny obviously wasn’t interested in giving that, he convinced Michael to leave.

Once Ava accepted Sonny’s offer of a drink, he talked to her about Jason not being the same man anymore.

Ava suggested that Jason stopped being that man when he got together with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) while Sonny was in Nixon Falls.

Although Sonny couldn’t depend on Jason, Ava touched him under his chin and insisted there was someone else he could depend on – meaning her.

There was a moment where sparks seemed to be flying, but Sonny suggested it was getting late.

Ava agreed they should call it a night, but they were both glad she was staying there.

At Bobbie’s, John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) gave Carly updates on Jason being in custody, but he tried to stop her from rushing off to see him since Jason couldn’t have visitors anyway.

Carly bickered with John since she felt like he didn’t know Jason at all, but he admitted he knew Jason Quartermaine since they both fought over Karen Wexler (last played by Marie Wilson).

Once Carly ranted about John’s conflicts of interest and whether the FBI knew about them, she told him to go somewhere else for food and stormed out.

At the police station, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) approached Jason in the interrogation room and got him to confirm he didn’t fire at Dante.

Although Anna believed Jason, she needed additional info since the evidence against him had piled up.

Jason refused to divulge more at first, but Anna was perplexed over why he’d speak to John privately for so long without an attorney present.

After Anna mentioned that John was “Jagger” and talked about his history with Jason Quartemaine, it was obviously news to Jason since he had no memory of back then and hadn’t made the connection.

Jason eventually slammed on the table and blurted out that he’d been working with John Cates since November 2021.

As Jason explained his arrest and how he became an FBI informant, he mentioned Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and saw Anna’s strange reaction.

Anna finally admitted that Britt was murdered and that the killer was in custody, so Jason got choked up.

After reflecting on Britt’s smile for a moment, Jason swallowed his emotions and continued his story.

Since John had proof of RICO violations and criminal conspiracy, Jason was forced into helping the FBI get info on Pikeman.

They needed a civilian who could be off the books, so Jason said he’d been working as a mercenary for Pikeman to gather intel.

Jason confirmed that he was part of the warehouse team that went after Sonny, but he knew about the other two attempts on Sonny’s life – which were carried out by different teams.

When Anna realized John was fully in the loop on Jason and what was going down at the warehouse, she was furious!

Jason explained that he made sure the sniper missed the shot, but then Dante caught up with them as they prepared for extraction.

The sniper fired at Dante and was now deceased, but Jason assumed Pikeman took care of the body.

Jason said he ran since he was trying to salvage his deal with the FBI and needed to heal from his wound.

If Jason went down for capital murder, he feared he’d go to prison and wouldn’t be good to anyone.

Anna didn’t want Jason to give up on Dante’s recovery just yet. By saving Dante, Jason might’ve saved himself, too.

Once Carly arrived and pushed to see Jason, a cop warned that it was impossible since Jason was already with the police commissioner.

Carly seemed on edge as she watched Jason and Anna’s intense conversation through the window.
