General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, May 8, reveal that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will backtrack now that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has rejected his resignation. Once Dante gives Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) updates on his talk with Anna, he’ll ask if she’ll stay with him if he’s still a cop.
Sam was looking forward to not having to worry about Dante being in constant danger, but she should make peace with his bad news.
Although Sam was hoping for a change, she’s used to Dante’s risky job and can hopefully still accept it.
Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will discuss a big problem with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) ahead of the wedding, so there may be some concerns about Gregory Chase’s (Gregory Harrison) decline and his resistance to accepting help.
At some point, Chase will track down Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), so they’ll have a chance to talk about their upcoming nuptials and any final preparations that need to be made.
As for John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington), he’ll feel like he owes Brook Lynn an apology.
That could involve smoothing things over regarding John’s past Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) intimidation since Brook Lynn came to Danny’s rescue.
Then again, maybe John has done something else he wants to apologize for.
There might even be some little hiccup in Wednesday’s episode that leads to John letting Brook Lynn know that he’s sorry.
Whatever the case, John will indeed offer an apology and will have a catch-up session with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) as well.
Next, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will fill Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstom) in on her visit to Pentonville and admit that she’s empathizing with Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
Although Heather has taken multiple lives, she now understands how horrible that was and can’t even fathom why she thought she had to do that for Esme Prince (Avery Pohl).
Laura may feel guilty on some level for the empathy she’s feeling, but Kevin may insist that just means Laura has a kind and forgiving heart.
Of course, Laura isn’t willing to give Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a pass for his mistakes, but that’s mostly because she doesn’t believe he’s sorry or willing to change.
Over with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll open up to Anna about the Carly leverage that John’s holding over him.
It sounds like Jason will discuss the details of Carly’s RICO violations and all the criminal conspiracy drama.
Jason already warned Anna that Carly could never know the truth, but he’ll reiterate that on Wednesday’s GH episode.
If Carly finds out the real story, Jason will know exactly what her reaction is going to be – and that’s why he’ll want to avoid it!
Jason won’t want Carly feeling guilty or even trying to turn herself in as a way to get him off the hook with the FBI.
Finally, Carly will pay Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) a visit at Pentonville, so he’ll light up when he sees her and admit his day just got 100 percent better.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will interrogate Brennan about Pikeman as she works to uncover more information, but our predictions hint that he may be more interested in flirting and stonewalling!
