The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, May 24, reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) admitted to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) that he just came to pick up some pizzas, but Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) pushed him to stay for the wedding since he had to wait for the pizzas anyway.
Sheila insisted it was meant to be, so Finn exchanged a look with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and relented on sticking around.
Tom (Clint Howard) made a speech about how everyone gathered there believed in the power of redemption and second chances, but Finn looked uncomfortable.
Deacon spoke from the heart about Sheila coming in like a hurricane and turning his life upside down in the best possible ways.
Sheila also told Deacon that he completed her and that she had everything she’d ever wanted because she felt so loved.
Tom led Deacon and Sheila through their vows before it was time to exchange rings.
Deacon put them in Finn’s hand so he could give them to Tom, so that brought more discomfort for Finn.
Once the rings were on Sheila and Deacon’s fingers, Tom pronounced them husband and wife.
After Tom invited Deacon to kiss the bride, Deacon made out with Sheila while Finn and Hope clapped awkwardly.
At the cliff house, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) showed off a sock puppet the girls had made before Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) said they’d be getting hungry soon.
Steffy mentioned that Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) liked Deacon’s specialty pizzas, so that’s why Finn went there specifically.
Since Finn had been gone a long time, Steffy looked uneasy and texted him to ask where he was.
At the Forrester mansion on Friday’s B&B episode, Eric Forrester (John McCook) was appalled over the news that Deacon was marrying Sheila today – though he acknowledged that he’d made that mistake himself in the past.
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) thought this was a totally different situation since Deacon knew what Sheila was capable of.
Eric got updates on Hope supporting her dad at the wedding and believing there might be a change in Sheila based on Deacon’s positive influence.
Ridge felt that if Hope thought Sheila had changed, that was both concerning and dangerous.
Hope was Sheila’s maid of honor, but Ridge said she should’ve walked away like Finn did and made a prediction that he’d steer clear of the ceremony.
After Brooke acknowledged that Finn’s commitment was to Steffy, Ridge insisted that it better be!
