The Bold and the Beautiful Monday, May 6 Recap: Hope Collapses Over Sheila Sighting, Faces Sugar Truth

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, May 6, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) showed up late for a meeting regarding Hope for the Future and seemed frazzled.

After Steffy complained to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) needing to move on, Hope vowed to go speak to him right now.

Once Hope left, Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) interrupted to seek help with a parking spot dispute, so Ridge sent Carter to go handle it.

Although Steffy doubted that Hope had the guts to stand up to Deacon on this Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) survival issue, Ridge offered a prediction that Hope might be the one to get through to him.

Steffy insisted Hope just needed to convince Deacon to stay away from John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

Ridge didn’t understand Finn’s bizarre connection with Sheila and pointed out that the kids could’ve been there when Sheila came over that night. Steffy didn’t even want to hear Ridge say that and added that Sheila was gone for good.

Next on Monday’s B&B episode, Deacon insisted Sheila was stuck with him – and Finn said she was stuck with him, too.

Deep down, Finn always thought they’d build a relationship if they had enough time and Sheila put in the work.

Now that Sheila was back, Finn assured her that he didn’t want to be apart.

Deacon made it clear that it wasn’t enough for Finn to just believe Sheila’s story. Finn needed to believe IN Sheila as well, so Finn confirmed that he did.

Sheila realized it must’ve caused tension in Finn’s marriage when he believed Steffy eliminated his birth mother.

Finn confessed it felt like Steffy was slipping through his fingers, but Sheila said she’d never want that for Finn since he deserved to be happy.

Finn talked about how relieved he was knowing Sheila was alive, but Hope suddenly knocked and left Sheila thinking she should hide.

Deacon stopped Sheila and indicated that Hope was going to find out sooner or later, so he urged her to stay put.

When Deacon opened the door, Hope started ranting about how he couldn’t keep going around town telling people that Sheila was alive.

Once Hope looked over and saw that Sheila was standing there, she fainted and fell into Deacon’s arms.

Hope eventually regained consciousness on the sofa, so Finn and Deacon assured her that she was really seeing Sheila.

Finn insisted that Deacon was right all along – and then Sheila admitted she was there in the flesh.

After Hope got updates on Sheila’s history with “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown), Sheila said vengeful Sugar abducted her and chained her up in an old warehouse.

Sheila explained that Sugar’s plan was to break in Steffy’s house to harm her and the kids.

Although Sheila wasn’t proud of what she did to Sugar or her other past mistakes, she declared that she was a better person now.

Finn confessed he didn’t fully believe it until he saw Sheila with his own eyes.

After Finn said he was glad to have this second chance with his birth mother and reiterated that Sheila was alive, Hope sat there looking bewildered.
