The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, April 1, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) stopped by Forrester Creations, so Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) assumed he heard the news about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) dumping her.
Although Hope thought Liam had come to celebrate and say he told her so, he insisted he wasn’t there to gloat and didn’t get off on seeing her in pain.
Liam sympathized with Hope and felt that Thomas had unrealistic expectations when it came to pushing her to accept his proposal so soon.
As far as Liam was concerned, Hope had nothing to feel guilty about.
Liam knew it was tough on Hope to see Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) get whisked away to Paris as well.
Although Hope acknowledged that she broke Thomas’ heart, she felt that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) made the situation worse and didn’t care if Douglas was collateral damage. That took things a step too far in Hope’s opinion.
Liam tried to defend Steffy a bit initially, but Hope complained about Steffy getting inside Thomas’ head and turning this into another Logan-Forrester battle.
If it weren’t for Steffy, Hope felt that Thomas and Douglas would still be in town.
After Hope apologized for oversharing, Liam understood that she was going through a lot.
Since Liam was relieved Thomas wouldn’t be involved in Hope and Beth Spencer’s (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) lives anymore, he urged Hope to see this as a good thing.
Liam suggested that maybe there was another man out there for Hope – someone worthy of saying yes to.
At the cliff house, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) had compassion for Hope over the breakup and tried to get Steffy to show a little compassion of her own.
However, Steffy was adamant that Hope wasn’t some innocent victim and said no one should feel sorry for her.
Finn still didn’t think Steffy should put all the blame on Hope and argued that it wasn’t good for Steffy to get so wound up.
After Finn reflected on Liam ending his marriage, Steffy argued that happened because Hope chased after Thomas and kissed him in Rome.
Although Hope said Steffy would regret her interference, Steffy wasn’t worried about that.
Despite her complaints over Finn playing Hope’s defender, Steffy liked the fact that he saw the best in people and didn’t want to let anything come between them.
Finn agreed and hugged Steffy, who seemed a little uneasy over his shoulder.
Back at Forrester Creations, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) gave Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) updates on Thomas leaving for Paris with Douglas last night.
In the design office on Monday’s B&B episode, Luna worried about Hope and asked what this meant for Hope for the Future. Since Thomas had bowed out, RJ insisted they’d all have to step up more in his absence.
Although RJ seemed like he was taking Hope’s side in the split, Zende understood Thomas’ perspective since it was tough when someone wouldn’t commit.
Luna hoped that maybe Thomas and Hope could eventually work things out, but RJ thought the ship had sailed.
On the bright side, RJ thought that banding together on the line could help him get closer to his cousin again, so Zende gave him a fist bump.
When RJ suggested this was a chance for Zende to work with Luna and see how talented she was, Zende said he already knew.
However, Zende added that it would be his pleasure working closer with Luna and seemed excited by the idea.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Luna and Zende could be headed for risky territory, so stick with us for more predictions on where their storyline’s going next.
