The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 27, reveals that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) struggled to listen to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bash Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), but Steffy argued that it wasn’t bashing if it was true.
Steffy acted like the Logans were all the same and eventually brought Brooke’s history into the confrontation.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) didn’t think attacking Brooke was helping matters, but Steffy suggested she was just being honest.
After Steffy made it clear that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was too good for Hope, she really hoped Thomas was ending things with her today.
In the design office on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Thomas wondered what he really had with Hope and questioned if she just wanted to take a walk on the wild side with the bad boy.
Although Hope insisted that wasn’t the case, Thomas asked how long he’d have to wait for Hope to love him the way he loved her.
Although Hope made a passionate speech about her love for Thomas, she just wasn’t ready for another marriage and was frustrated over him not understanding that.
Thomas wondered how long it’d take Hope to be ready and seemed doubtful that Hope could ever really answer that question.
Thomas also asked why Hope wore his ring on her necklace and gave him hope for their future when she had no intention of accepting the proposal.
If Hope really wanted to marry Thomas, he felt she would’ve put that ring on her finger from the start.
Hope was annoyed over Thomas sounding like Steffy, but he felt that maybe his sister was right.
Although Thomas would’ve loved Hope for the rest of his life, this back and forth was too painful – and that’s why he was leaving today.
Thomas couldn’t work on Hope for the Future with Hope anymore, so he reiterated that he was leaving and thought he’d go to Paris.
Hope reeled over Thomas’ updates and kept trying to talk some sense into him.
After Thomas said hopefully there was someone out there who would love him as much as he loved them, Hope was shocked considering he literally just proposed to her.
Thomas said Hope was out of time and shut down the idea that they were a team anymore.
Hope blamed Steffy for all this, but Thomas argued that Steffy wasn’t some puppet master.
Steffy just opened Thomas’ eyes to the fact that he couldn’t stay there and be humiliated any longer. Maybe the past was just too much to overcome.
Thomas said he had to go – and he wanted to take Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) with him. Hope cried that Thomas couldn’t do that and added he couldn’t just leave like this.
Thomas said the most painful part of this whole thing was that he knew Hope loved him the whole time. Unfortunately, Hope never actually declared her love for Thomas until she was rejecting him.
Thomas told Hope goodbye, but she grabbed his hand and then touched his face as she tries to convince him to stay. Hope begged Thomas not to do this to them.
Thomas said he loved Hope and always would, but he pulled away when she tried to kiss him and rushed out the door. Hope looked devastated as she cried alone in the aftermath.
