The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) has a major void in his life now that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) isn’t in it. Although Sheila drove Deacon crazy sometimes, she was also exciting and gave him the love he’d been longing for.
In an interview with SOD, Sean Kanan opened up about lonely Deacon and how he’s doing now that he’s in mourning.
Kanan talked about Deacon’s strange relationship with Sheila and hinted about what’s to come.
Although Deacon and Sheila’s romance had plenty of naysayers, Kanan was quick to defend it.
Deacon’s history on B&B brought him to a place where he was desperate for a reciprocated romantic connection.
“You know, everybody is entitled to find love in their life and I think Deacon has lived his life for a very long time without it, not to mention without companionship while he was in prison for five years,” Kanan said.
Despite Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) decision to keep her dad at a distance because of Sheila, Kanan didn’t think it was excessively selfish for Deacon to feel he deserved a happy love story.
Of course, fans can now see that love is the real deal based on Deacon’s reaction to Sheila’s grim fate. Deacon is grieving and struggling to figure out what his life’s supposed to look like without Sheila around.
Since Deacon is alone once again, Sean Kanan acknowledged the pain his character’s in. It’s clear that Deacon is feeling lost, so he’s at a crossroads when it comes to how he’ll move forward.
Although Deacon is handling things as well as to be expected, Kanan suggested that “it remains to be seen how he’s actually going to cope with it.”
Will Deacon go overboard on booze as a way to numb his pain? Could a new woman come into Deacon’s life to mend his broken heart?
Deacon could at least have a hot hookup or two to forget his sorrow for a while. It’d be interesting to see Deacon try and fail to get Sheila out of his head.
However, Deacon may not have to figure out how to truly cope if Sheila is alive!
Our predictions indicate the real Sheila may have survived while her doppelganger perished, so Deacon may be in for a shocking reunion eventually.
